Tips for new Vezel

I had a similar noise coming from my Vezel that would appear at certain rpm. I tried to pin point it and found that it was the exhaust pipe that was slightly pushed to a side and would touch the body when vibrating. Took the car to an exhaust mechanic who moved the pipe slightly away from the body. That solved the noise issue. I think the problem happened while loading in to the container in Japan.

Engine noise while shifting to Petrol from EV is very common in all Honda Vezel. It cam be reduce by using Hi-octane or Fuel Injectors.

One person from Karachi claims that he have the solution for this sound but he ask Rs 21,000 to remove this sound by some alteration in gear shifter or putting transmission actuator

I don't think it would be advisable to fiddle around unnecessarily if the noise is not too bothersome.

Comments/Advice invited from Vezel Experts.
Which should the first service be carried out on a Zero mileage Vezel 2016 and what should be included in the service.I mean like Oil/Filters /Transmission oil/Air Filter/AC Filter. What brand and specification of OIL is recommended in this very hot weather.Any other point to attend to would be welcome.

Is it really a CRIME to have a Vezel's Engine Bay hosed (high pressure) once in a while during a wash??? or is it just a myth.

A comprehensive response as to why it is okay and/or unacceptable to do so would be highly appreciated.

I understand that the Vezel is a very advanced car with numerous sensors, the performance of which might be compromised by contact with Water. But what I don't understand is why drying the engine bay with an air jet / leaf blower before starting the car will not fix /dry the sensors.

I have not had my engine bay pressure hosed so far because I have been advised against it. I would appreciate the experienced Vezel users to kindly chip in.

I think you have already been given the advice with which i also agree.But what is this with us in Pakistan getting our cars hosed with pressure water.Its damaging for the body as well and gets into all nooks and corners.I have spent a lot of time abroad and haven't seen anybody pressure hosing the car. yes normal car wash is alright and people take it regularly.The engine is done up with steam and certain other ingredients if required.Still its your choice and if you feel necessary that you need to hose it hard and them you may take a chance with sensors.

Not to worry... i face same problem.... butt i clean engine plugs and empty petrol tank and full wih high ovtane not V-power from shell petrol pump. Only use high octane.. now i m very much happy with my vezel....

and its also have noisy sound
my friend vezel have less sound .

I purchased this beauty couple of months back and immediately took it for a ride to Khunjerab Pass via Besham, Dasu, Chilas, Gilgit, Karimabad, Sost on wards, though i could not reach till border and had to turn back 40 km earlier due to excessive snow. Fuel economy was 17.9 throughout including climbing, total fuel used was around Rs. 13,500, total KMs 2470. The only problem i faced during the trip and afterwards was the shift from EV to Gasoline and I admit it, its so annoying that its ruining an amazing experience, not only have I read the reviews from different forums but also confirmed from my friends and they have the exactly same problem and there isnt seem to be any possible solution as i believe its the way it is and thats the way its going to be. so anyone jumping in to buying a vezel keep it in mind that overall its an amazing car in 3.0 to 3.5 million bracket but you ll have to live with the power loss and growling issues when shifting from EV to Gasoline.

Hi brother,

Thank you for the post, although it is older one, I want to ask on which gear you drove to such hilly areas on D or L, or how about to use pedal shifters on hilly areas like steep uphill of Naran, Babusar Top and Nagar/Khunjrab? I felt Vezel is so cute baby for such rough drive needs to power it and to save its transmission from getting hotter and cause any damage.

I love my this cute baby car. I have 17 model Honda Z sensing top of line variant. It has pedal shifters which I used to maneuver as fun on straight roads often.
