Look the doors don't even have windows. Anybody can just get inside the Car and hotwire it. Most unsuitable for a city like Karachi.

But, having said that I should also add, only the most perverse and depraved would want to steal it.

Only thing it qualifies to be is a four wheeled rickshaw. One that would hopefully offer a bit more comfort and less noise and polution.

Then the price is too high. It should be down to 125K to 140K not more than that. The price of the current rickshaws (Piaggio Vespacar called Rocket) of 150K should not be linked to this to beging with. These rickshaws are seldom bought brand new anymore. The 2nd-hand refurbished ones are selling at 80K to 90K with cng.

Why would the average rickshaw driver spend 80K more for this one? Difference between rickshaw and taxi fares are already not that much. So is the rickshaw driver going to get more fare (like a taxi) or the same old rickshaw fare. Because I don't think this thing can compete with a taxi and is bit more heavy on the wallet for a rickshaw owner.

The only advantage seems to be that it will be new and maintenance will not be an issue at first. Then it's durability will be tested.

I have got it. It was eluding me about exactly what it resembled.

A golf cart. That's what it is. All the major clubs should buy a few of these for their golf courses.

200cc is practical, but the size is not, look at CLEAR, the EU project.

This car is too huge, but requires zero maintenance because of the selection of alternates for different components.

No windows is one reason but the plastic shield windows could be used in conjunction with some junkyard components to have secure parking for long hours (e.g. at night).

But to make it a family car, it has to either adapt to the shape of SMART or CLEAR, 4 seater is not the way to go if the targets are the bike commuters. For a rickshaw this is fine.

what are you guy talking about , this thing(car) was introduced as small taxi which would be better than a 2 stoke rickshaw and will be more economical than a taxi like 1.5l daewoo racer :S
a rickshaw doing 35km/l is still un practical because it would be spending more than rs 2 /km :S on fuel only.. however on gas its average will be very very good ... either public transport rate will come down or atlease those poor ppl will start earning more money .....
now for 200cc most ppl in this country have honda cd 70 .. which by the way is 70cc

bike users can convert to this thing(car) but a car user cannot get this low.
I will hate it if I am driving somewhere and ppl are yelling at me " Rickshaw or Auto" :S

I am one of the lucky members who drove this light tin can
Its not that bad I cant say that its pickup is great but its just good according to the size of the car and its drive its a bit bumpy and u will feel as if there is very light wait beneath u and its quite light

and guess what the guys who owns it his brother just hit the back of cultus yesterday but nothing happend to the bumpers of the cultus except a few scratches but the front of this Alif went inside from the front but still its in working condition coz its in green colour and is a taxi

The Alif's steering wheel looks very similar to the revo's steering wheel!!.Is there some connection between the two or they must be using the same parts supplier!!.I LOVE this car!.

Tell us about the ride quality especially how it copes with pot-holes. How fast can it go? How far does it go on a full tank?
Does it get very very hot/dusty inside with so much transparent perspex or is it glass or nothing at all? Not sure it would be safe, any safety features or roll bars?
Kinky stuff but does it have a purpose in life?
