shauk ka koi maul nahee.......busss. Not bothered about resale as i am buying for keeping it. How long more will this last considering it already 10 yrs old

1kz lasts for 350000 km if well kept. That makes toyota reliable. Go for this jeep, it has...
1. Nice body kit and front lip, grill and crystal lites
2. Grafix are nice and unique
3. Clean interior
4. Powerful, ofcourse it will be, smaller car with an engine that is designed 3 runs a bigger 5 door too
5. Very rite price tag.

what it needs is...
1. 33inch tyres and spacers
2. Parado Grill with racing lights (alot available in Kabari markets in rwp and pshawer)

If u need a small jeep (infact jeeps are suppose to be small) u hav found one. None i saw in lahore at this price.

GTTX, im not an SUV expert, but thought id add my opinion to your thread :)..First of all, is the dealer providing an auction sheet?. Cause a 96 with 70K seems a bit hard to believe. Secondly, if your heart is set on it, take a few PW experts and a mechanic along, and buy the car. Enjoy!

@GTTX check the red prado at autofield its a good car i know red aint ur colour but its a good one check it out RZ is my favourite as its got power and goes like a rickshaw in traffic awsome in offroad i had one in red and its was just gr8 onlt downside can flip like a rickshaw tooo but but good drivin control can sort tht out

rickshaw vs prado damn what a comparison. well the prado sure is very fast. very torqy and fast accelerating.

There are many in Workshops area behind Fire brigade in G7. infact there are two roads runing parrallel. the one towards G7 markaz and not towards Fire brigade has 3-4 wksps in a row. They repair and paint ambassay's and Govt's Crusiers n parados.

U can check the month of import atleast to see how much it has been driven in Pakistan even if it is unregistered. driving 5k in Pakistan=25k of driving in Japan or even more.
Look from underneath for any off-roading marks and scratches. japanese wassay dont use these jeeps for off-roading. Just 4 style like us

got it checked by a mechanic who does Govt Prados etc. He has give me thumbs up for this ride. Brakes require adjustment and fron dics require tool on rotors. Change of fluids all around. that balancing and alignment. Rest is super.

the jokers at capital car deals (looks like their showroom from the pics) are a bunch of theives, i can assure you there is something wrong with the car and/or its papers. my advice is to buy a car from a reri wala before you buy from these theives!

i've seen how they deal and have dealt with them on a number of occasions (some people will recall the firebird i bought from them), they are shady people and it's best to walk away from this deal while you still can.

same applies to pak-japan autos and dream cars.

these guys used to be good (capital car deals) but they have become greedy and 2 number. pak japan are unprofessional and dream cars picks up all the cars which don't sell throughout the rest of PK.

you're better off trying the dealers in pindi or car world (if you can deal with amir shakeels attitude - but he's not here right now).

ideally you should go to KHI and find a good clean car from there.

Prado LJ-71 (1992) 2.4L 2LT engine has this problem
1. Overheating
2. Head cracking
3. Cant b driven constantly on highway speed. 90 kmph is advised

1KZ is improved and robust.

We use to own 1991 2400cc 5 door prado
made trips to isb , muree and fsd at 120kmhp coz it wont go any further and had no problem ! but the car was too old and gave many engine problems so we sold it .

capita car deal guys are hialrious nodobt about tht they got this CL9 in green colour has low spec then mine and driven more then mine and ask 22lakh while mine the say ohh 18lakh couldnt stop laughin at tht but dont go 4 the blue one iits been clockd for sure and the khi plate silver is not at all clean ricksahw is nippy and 2 drive a RX or RZ here is ideal easy 2 park and get around the city i got a 5door and its annoyin 2 park here

That green accord was being polished the other day at the showroom. Well i had that blue one technically checked by denter and mechanic. Both said thats its a neat and well maintianed ride. What can 1 do about meter....i m sure its been reversed. The car must be around 120K km on clock. BUt then ride quality and everything are gr8.

I drove that silver one and it was a mess. Looked like as if it was driven by a bunch of smugglers.

As far as my experince with these guys goes well they started off from 17 and came down to 15 that too without any baragaining effort from my side. I guess if i try they may come down further as well. They even let me take the ride around town...so far a good experince. I havent contacted them since past 2 days.

Lets see what happens.......
