At nurburgring Porsche 918 Spyder did 6:57.00 standing 3rd fastest followed by Nissan GT-R Nismo at 7:08.68. McLaren aren't disclosing the exact. Just saying that under 7 minutes.

Welcome to the after party.
The thing is many guys watched it because of the controversy and missed the whole thing. Including me. Then I had to like watch it again to enjoy the raods and the vehicles where I loved the lotus.
Even friends at Argentina were like we understand British humor but still this mob and what they did was just unacceptable and on that bomb shell no one can hate a whole Argentinian nation.

the Lotus was by far the most reliable throughout..even though it's considered the most unreliable elsewhere...than there is the Porsche <3..of course Hammond is a blithering idiot so his choice was alright to him in short loved the whole adventure....wish I was a part of their crew.

on another note, I don't think a number plate should be taken that serious, call it a co-incidence, then again who am I to judge.

Loved the Patagonia Special but was disappointed at the end. Thankfully i had not fully gone into the depth of the trouble they went in Argentina and just skimmed through the news. I didn't expect this kind of reaction though and when watching the episode i though that in the end they will be able to build the stadium and was actually waiting for it.

The lotus though really surprised me and i was expecting it to at least break down once plus the fact that James of all chose the lotus was intriguing.

Looking forward to the new season, have been very eagerly waiting for them to air the new season. I just hope that they finally test the new S-Class keeping the tradition alive by introducing the future technology to be available in cars in the coming decade.

Haha it's true, top gear is not the by word for sincere reviewing or motoring advice

It's purely a scripted entertainment show, that doesn't make it less entertaining though

Well when Jeremy announced on the show that they won this award he even made a remark that he didn't attend the ceremony as he was busy writing the script for the next show:p

Anyway that was back in 2005, that's a decade ago, it's used to be more civilised back then
Look 20 years back and it was a pure motoring review and advise show

Things have evolved since then
They haven't been denominated since

But don't get me wrong, I love top gear
Just not accept it as car reviewing program and as the specials get more and more easy to guess its starting to become obvious
