toyota_mr2 is 100% right, Mehran's brake will not work at all above 80km/hr. 8 years back my cousin tried to race with another mehran and when he applied the brakes the tires were locked but the car kept on going nothing happend even when he turned the steering it just kept on going straight and finaly an on coming Khyber stopped it.

Thank GOD no one was hurt except both the cars.

I would blame it on the driver. It is not the car's fault if you've locked the wheels. I am not saying that Mehran has excellent brakes, they are horrid. Lastly, one should not expect race car performance from a car which was meant to be economical and nothing else.

I kept mehran for 6 years and top speed I touched was 80 . this car isnt seriously meant for anything above that.

touched 135 on petrol and 115 on cng. my car is 06 VXR. after 100 it felt like as if the car will fall apart and it is difficult 4 it 2 b controlled at these speeds so guyz plz don`t take such risks.

Yeah Freshy is right.... I think we should Boycott this Mehran cuz this is just a piece of paper n secondly Suzuki has not change its shape from a bunch of years... and also there is no brake booster in it... OK Take a coure its much better then this one... Perhaps Mehran is a fuel economical car but its also naut a safe car for a family as well....

I WENT AT 110KM/H ON 3RD GEAR AT ABUL HASN ISPAHANI ROAD. THE CAR STARTED TO WOBBLE THEN I SLOWED IT.

my brother touched 100kmph on his way to sea view with me .but then a speed breaker came and he couldnt brake we were both flying in air...suffered some damages to our body...

it can go on till 130...but takes forever doing that. requires quite a stretch of perfectly smooth road...ive tried it...but the car gets too wobbly, bouncy and unstable.
definitely not recommended trying to reaching the top speed in such a car!

Stock Mehran can go the full meter, as I have taken it to approx. 140kph. How many other cars are capable of doing that? My 2003 VXR was a very fast Mehran with excellent new suspension it was surprisingly smoother at 135kph than I thought it would be.

The car got stolen sadly.

yaar tunning karata tha karata hoon nahin .. as ya mehran last year feb. main main na sale kar dee thee .. and uss time hee karwata tha .. (uss kay bad to cherry chal rahe hay ).. and uss kay uss gari ka koch pata nahin .. buss yahe pata hay kay taxi kay toor per chal rahe hoo gee .. as kharednay walay kay aaraday yahe thay ..

Personally i don't like MEHRAN.

Believe it or not but i saw a MEHRAN last year (it was a new one) on motorway for the very first time doing 150 km/h.

At that time i was at 140 km/h.

! STOP !

My RED one was able to go upto 160km/h but nothing after that as there is no 5th gear and the 4th gear revs upto 5500 after which it makes no useful power.
