oh looky here my cultus did 190, oh my vitz did 200....give me a break will ya?
a) these cars are designed to host 1,3L at the minimum, some lame ass engineer thought it would be good to put 1.0 engines on these cars to get 1 km extra on petrol. So now that these "shopping cart trolleys" (as so rightly put by some one here) are not meant to go more then 130-140 CONSTANT for a couple of hours.
I have a 2001 cultus, that used to go up to 140 when it was new (i wouldnt say easily, because it takes quite some time to reach that point in these cars). Now after 9 years, going more then 130 is pushing it. It may reach 140 but that too with the help of a down slope.
Any ****** here that says they touched 160 on cultus or vitz is smoking weed. I cant voutch for the 4 cylinder versions of the car, but the 3 cylynder ones no way in hell could touch 160, maby 155ish on a downward slop and floornig the pedal for 5, 10 minutes....
I highly doubt cultus and vitz can reach 160 EASILY and even keep going at that speed without damaging the engine. anyone who has done that has seriously f*ked up their engine.
