Our first glimpse of the surroundings of the Meadows.... Although we had been hiking for about 5 and a half hours and were almost down and out but this single scene was enough to erase all the pain....

Rashid crossing another famous "Rana Bridge"... More of it in the next post....

We all crossed the bridge on the small stream with ease.... The last person standing on the other side was none other than Mr. Rana Sher Dil....@[/email]"]ranasherdil

He crossed the bridge by holding the hand of a local helper and boy he was frightened.... In fact I made a video of this famous crossing in which the fear of Rana Sher Dil saheb can easily be noticed....
BTW the bridge was made of two logs and one of them was quite elastic...

On the way back, I have crossed this bridge without any help. There was a bridge here but the flood take it so this makeshift bridge is there. Due to smaller log, balance was getting out.

There are two areas, where I stuck at this bridge and an inclined part of trek just near the lake.

Jahaz Banda in foreground. The next meadow in middle of pic is Bhind Banda. (The cottage is on that meadow). Usually a community/family owns a banda/meadow.

The cottage is at Bhind Banda. You have to cross the Katora Lake stream for approaching Bhind Banda from main Jahaz Banda.

This is a strange location. water streams everywhere, similarly a lot of ways.
