Attabad Tunnel is open now. It was inaugurated in September last year.

Plz check the dates of our tour. We had this tour in July - Aug 2015 when the tunnel was in final stages but was still closed. It was inaugurated later after a month in Sep 2015

sir, hum 4 dost lahore se khunjerab via naran,baboser jane ka plan bna rhe he. hmary pass 850cc core he.kya ye momkin he koy problem to nahi ho ge.

Agar hum Mehran 800cc may ja chuke hain tu umeed apki 850cc coure bhi kar laigi. But the engine must be in good condition.

Is taraf se apko koi masla nahi hoga lekin wapsi may Sab se critical charhaye Chillas se Babusar Top ki hay..... If u feel ur car is weak from engine u can try Besham Route from Chillas to Mansehra instead of Naran Route.

Salam.. we r three friends and making plan to visit china border on our mehran 2004 model.. on 2nd day of eid.. is there some one else going to china border on this eid..?? If yes then there is an option to make "carvan" and enjoy together.. waiting for ur reply.. contact 03214473636.. and those who have visited china border plz suggest us k mehran chali jay gi easily border tak..?? Aur agr chli jay gi to wapis single piece main aay gi ya multiple pieces main..??

Amazing Thread @fawadrauf1. I went through your thread in a single go. This must have been an exciting and adventurous trip. Bravo to the Mighty Mehran. A month ago I planned a road trip on my Vitz all the way from Karachi to Khunjrab, initially friends agreed but later they scared so that plan couldn't be executed May be some other time InshaAllah.

So, eventually I'm going Via Train to Islamabad and on booked jeep on our way forward starting from coming Saturday InshaAllah.

fawad amazing pic ..i have raveled all other north side ..even hiked alot of lakes and naangpart sides ..but this khunjrab pass deaosai plans are remaining ..just loved it ..

Here comes a view point where you can see Batura Glacier. Amazingly it is the fifth longest glacier in the world having a length of around 57 kms. There is a lake as well across the road.

If Khunjerab Pass isn't ur target, I would suggest you to visit Hunza in end of Oct or start of Nov. U will find Hunza in its most attractive colors. Hunza looks out of world in Autumn Season with all trees in Orange Color. Moreover if I'm not wrong its usually the famous Hunza Apples season as well.

Mehran making it comfortably to Hunza's Eagle Nest Hotel. People were amazed and laughing out there and kept asking us how have we managed coming in Mehran?
