Day 4 - Tuesday:

The plan was to visit the Siri, Paya and Makra Peak. We got into the Jeeps and started the journey.

On our way to Siri, our Jeep Driver told us that the tree on our left is 2000 years old. Following is the picture of that tree and us

Reached Siri, a few more pics of surrounding,

I was shocked to see the Siri lake, it is now converted into a Pond of mud.

Nice trip bro.i am also planning to visit Naran by car next month.I need you suggestion regarding road condition till Naran ,We've two options (Swift / Coure) Coure can save us some money because of CNG till Balakot and it never gets lower when 2 passengers on back seat but it lacks in breaking coz discs get hot while moving down.
where as swift has ABS but it gets lowered with back seat passenger.

What you reckon traveling on any of these cars till Naran?
Have you seen cars like (coure,alto,swift) in Naran

I saw people in Suzuki Mehran even at Jalkhad, but personally I don't think its a good idea.

I think you should take Swift, coz it can take you up to Naran. I too drive Cuore (and I love Coure), but I think you should go via big cars like Civic, City or Swift.

Regarding road conditions, Roads up to Naran (and even further) are quite stable, there is some land sliding, but alternate routes are build already.

i have seen mehran @ jhil.....

but 2 days back friend came back from Naran

up to shugran ..road is very good.....but after that due to land sliding .road conditions r not good...

like they had 2 corolla...and at some point they had to come out of the car to pass through a specific area.....

Coure is a good option.....try to get any 4 X4 for full shugal

How much you paid to jeep driver ? you paid till shogran or whole trip of siri paye?

Instead of hiring multiple Jeeps for different locations, we hired one Jeep. The driver's name is Multan Khan and his number is 0345-9623808. I'll highly recommend this driver. He is a professional and calm driver. The amount he told us was 13000, but after traveling with him, we were very happy with him and paid him more. Another thing, if you call him, please tell him that I recommended him to you (I promised him that I'll recommend him). Following was the path we followed on the Jeep.

Kawai -> Shogran -> Siri -> Paya -> Kawai -> Naran -> Lake Saiful Malook -> Naran -> Jalkhad -> Lulusar -> Naran -> Lalazar -> Naran -> Kawai

What about the Shogran route...can you confirm if it is a metalled road or for 4x4 only?

After having a a cup of Tea at Siri, we started journey towards Paya. And after a few minutes drive on a curly path, we reached the Paya

Makra Peak as seen from Paya

Four of us decided that they are too old to move forward :D, so three of us (including me) decided to at least reach Makra base camp (or as far as we can reach), so we moved forward

We didn't had a guide with us, so we took the wrong path :), and after trekking for an hour, we decided to go back, there we found an energetic college student from some city of Punjab (Bahawalpur as far as I remember), he decided to go alone Makra base camp, we took a picture with him (he is the guy in middle)

After that, we decided to go back to Paya, and started trekking back.

You can make it with a stable car, but you'll need a 4X4 if you wanna go further.

Shogran road is metalled but broken the real problem is that when you slow your car on broken road than it becomes very difficult for smaller cars to climb so its adviseable to go there in 4X4 and high ground clearance cars
