Toyota 4efe Poor Fuel Consumption in Corolla ee90

Thanks Mr. @saboor73 and specially Mr @ahmedraja1996 for nice suggestions. The ecu of 4efe was scanned and it showed an error code of 33 which was of auto choke and it was not working properly so there was an idling problem too when I started the car in morning. Throttle body was opened for service and noticed that it was cut out from inside so I replaced it and inserted the other one. T.valve was working and the auto fan function is restored now.
And I noticed some improvements in average. I am still testing now a days and will come up with updates.

Btw do you an efi fuel filter installed? Usually swapped cars don't have this unless it somehow cam with used engine. Without it the injectors get damaged within weeks. I recently asked someone to install it and his mechanic said the filter stainer with fuel pump pickup is the filter and its enough. :what:

I really don't know about the efi fuel filter. I will asked my mechanic to confirm, it is installed or not ?

I would like to ask the behavior of Idle/auto choke sensor of 4efe. When I unplugged the idle/auto choke sensor grip, the engine raced up and when I plugged the grip the engine become slow down and calm. Is it working likewise or this is an abnormal behavior?

Your mechanic is an idiot. You need to learn what it is. Start reading how efi fuel system works. Thts the issue with these swaps. Wait for ur injectors to start leaking.

Suggestions?

Should I go for efi fuel filter as there will be fitting issues because of its stock fuel pipes.
Or should I replace the existing fuel filter which is fitted in the fuel tank.

@vaqas1 I have just put down the fuel tank to sort out the fuel filter condition and cleanliness of the tank. The filter was clean and the tank is also very clean from inside. No dust or rust is found.

Dear brothers
i have a 98 corolla-x automatic stock 4efe engine...the vehicle is giving me terrible mileage like i top up the tank and it gives me 150-170 km..i have following things done but no improvements;
injectors changed
MAP sensor changed
tappets adjustment
removed catalytic converter

like mentioned above..i have noticed it burning rich. also in the morning it does missing. the vehicle runs heavy all the time like egine has lot of stress over it
please can anyone guide me on this as alot of mechanics have ruined my pocket

Hallo, my 4efe engine is doing around 10km/ litre and I have note the plugs are black, I always keep changing the plugs almost every week pls what's wrong ...help
