How is the back seat space in Aqua ? looks squeezed, Don't tell me that knees touch the front seat back for 5-10" above height. Fit is more spacious inside IMO.

I think 2013 fit will be available in 2016. I have heard that 2013 fit has earth heaven technology and has same fuel efficiency as aqua. Any comments.

Both car r same i had both fit is pleasure to drive prius is hard. Fit has great interior prius has no class. As far as economy is concern fit give u 22km/ltr if u use 0w-20 oil in it unfortunately avilable only by kixx so u have to put zic 0w-30 in it so it give u 19-21 km/ltr and on long it give u more then 28 29 km/ltr fit has the ivtech used in city plus ima motor assist suspension used in honda fit as used in city. My opinion on the whole both r same better then any local mf car.

first of all... Fit gives you 17 to 17.5 in the city and 21 to 22 on the highway... this is based upon personal experience.
secondly
parts of Fit and both Aqua are difficult to find but before i bought FIT a few wk ago i searched the market and could find FIT parts but AQUA were close to non existent.
will fill in more details as i gain experience with the car.

i am newbie when it comes to cars .infact I am looking to buy my first car but after doing so,e research and asking people . I came to know that hybrid cars like fit they run well but have resale issue plus if their batteries get faulty then it becomes difficult to find replacement for them .for only this reason I am getting inclined to buy Toyota vitz instead . People who are expert in this field can shed more light on the issue.

Toyota Aqua has the capability to fully transfer it's power on electric and after the car is started around 2 3 minutes the car's engine kicks in to warm it up and you yourself can keep it on it by pressing EV button. Whereas in Honda Fit it's the combination of electric and petrol engine, you don't have any control over it, manages itself, Honda Fit first start is on petrol whereas in aqua it's battery initially and then changes to petrol engine.

It's a bit mature I should say, on the other hand honda is doing it's best to come close to it. Honda looks pretty and people are getting good mileage from it. I haven't had any experience of FIT yet.

I think aqua is better. The resale of vitz and aqua has now become same. aqua will consume half the fuel. The battery has very long life, so it is not an issue.

I'm using honda fit earth dreams for 1 year now. The engine only starts if batteries are not charged. Otherwise it's soundless almost on start.

Starts on battery when full charged
If batteries are run out then on patrol
Then switches between different modes depending upon driving style

GP5 is full hybrid
Starts on battery when full charged
If batteries are run out then on patrol
Then switches between different modes depending upon driving style

Btw in winters all cars start on patrol to heat up engine then switch to EV
Now weather is changing to EV will start automatically
