@Rizzi
Bro, you got that engine in there but look at the weight of that car, it weighs just more then my house..
Skylines can woop it's fat J Lo ass anyday, no prob
= correction , how much work does an RB engine need before it can woop a stock internal 2jz engine ,thought about that one?
@rizzi when u said phuleeze let the men play the game and out of the way in ur initial post u went way over ur head a skyline is a god given car its so ****** fast tht if it went by u u won't even recognise it so wht if u have a 2jz in ur hood look at how fat tht car is and yeah ur the first one to call a skyline a skyrice in the world no offence but have u hit ur head on sumthing ?
The question is have you sat in a 2jz driven car? My question is have you even had the liberty to experience both?

Here’s the stock figure for GTR – V spec
Max.power (Net), kw(PS)/rpm280 ps (205.94 kw) / 6800 rpm Max.torque(Net), N*m(kg*m)/rpm37.5 kg*m (367.75 N*m) / 4400 rpm
Whats that figure ? 367nm… which is how much less than the 431 the 2jz produces ? yes very less..
Why it was not produced or sold in numbers if its that good of a Skyline eater?
Because the Aristo was more of a luxury car, sold in large numbers as the GS300 to the States and more popular for its cruising factor hence it had the 1UZ engine with awd and 8 cylinders. Whereas the Skyline (which also has sedan forms) didn’t quite cut it and was never officially exported.
ok....skyline r32 GTR is way lighter and faster...but i think this one should be able to beat gtm or gts version.....car is heavy....but few mods and it can beat skyline gtr too only in straight line.....it is a beautiful car on its own level....but dont dis gtr....as long it has supra mk4 engine its good...one of my frnds has one with few mods and it does close to 5sec for 60mph...nice car tho
that’s correct, those cars being lighter and aimed to boy racers (marketing ofcourse, to have a large number of aftermarket products to keep the business). Stock Gtr vs. Stock 2jz-gte , then we’re talking. And if you’ve seen topgear you’d know that awd is always slower off the line whereas simple rwd is better for launches and less mechanical bits involved.
hahaha...
I have alot of respect for this car, specially for the Altezza with the 2JZGTE..
but then again...There is NOTHING,and i mean it..NOTHING that stands in front of a R32 Skyline GT-R! and remember this for next time bro!
yes there is something that stands and spits then still gets away from the r32 gtr while that spit lands on it , and it comes in the form of a supra with a getrag 6 speed gearbox and peak torque at 3600revs.
well...obviously r32 is the king (ma ride) i was just saying this car is good too on its own level....it cant touch r32 tho....even modded aristos barely get close to stock r32!
hey....mk4 is coming this spring....woooohooo
excuse me but have you ever had a proper run with a 2jz based car?
Rizzi has lost the plot, feel sorry for him.
Quite the contrary my foolish friend, because if you know your rb engines at all, you would know how small those stock turbos are and the numerous issues the skyline gearbox suffers under increased boost and the tendency for the stock turbos to blow.
brov, skylines weighs less and that elephant weighs more. His can is like an elephant with legs of Cheetah, it doesn't work. That car isn't made for speed, Skyline is made to ripp balls off and his car is for old gezzers who want to have a comfy ride.
Again skylines do weigh less, but unless you’ve driven them both, sorry your answer doesn’t qualify.
@Rizzi
If you soo proud of your ENGINE!!! Then watch this, a 1000bhp Supra vs 800bhp Skyline, 200bhp less on the skyline and who wins???? SKYLINE!!!

Your car needs to start gym because it seems like its high on take away food. Stupid git, calling skyline a Skyrice.

Alright lets not even get started in terms of the videos that can be found on youtube, because if that’s the case I can show you the Honda Civic from the states that ran an 8-9 second quartermile, what will you say to that vs your precious skyline fool?
what do you say to clip I've given here fagget?
http://youtube.com/watch?v=wMs_FeWGkrs

LOL!! I am taking it easy but he's just crossed the line by calling skyline a skyrice, obviously the guy doesn't know anything about his cars. Anyhow, I'll be off now, will read the replies later
And do you know why skylines are called skyrice, because unlike you fools there who don’t see these cars too often and can only ogle on what they see online or can copy and paste to show off as their own , the number of skylines going around here makes it comparable to the taxis. The need to stand out here is more prevalent than just follow someone and get a common car.
How many modified Aristo you see around? Almost next to none, and how many skylines you see modified? Almost every other skyline you come across, that means Skyline is made to be over reved and speed but Aristo is just for lean back and drive, not to do peddal to the metal in.
Modified? Excuse me just slapping on a front mount, wheels and pod aren’t exactly worthy modifications, that’s common stuff. While you babble on about weight, or size, have you driven one? That’s the question..
Because not only do I own one but am a prominent member of the Aristo club here and we’ve got members here running 12 second ¼ miles on 12 psi and seen upto 450-500hp on the stock internals. Now when you show me an Rb engine that handles that power on stock internals then talk ok fool?
That should stick one up all you fools who most likely haven’t driven either or had the chance to experience the 2jz-gte.

so while I'll agree on the fact that the Aristo weighs more, but to dispute the fact that a stock 2jz vs stock rb26 and say the rb is better, you've obviously haven't had the chance to experience it for yourself. I see this debate here all the time and plenty have been shut down when they take it on the drag strip.
In the meantime, I'll end it with this paragraph taken from Autospeed.com
"On paper, the sequentially-turbocharged 3.0-litre VVT-i 2JZ-GTE is credited with a long-trunk'd 451Nm of torque at 3600 rpm; to give you a comparo, an R32 GT-R makes 355Nm, an Audi S4 twin-turbo 2.7 boosts its way to 400Nm, a Liberty B4 generates 320Nm and an Evo 6.5 kicks out 373Nm.
and ends with this
But, of course, it's the late-model Supra RZ's motorvation - the torque - that really grabs you by the shoulders. Infinitely variable inlet cam timing, DOHCs, 24-valves, EFI, air-to-air intercooling, sequential twin-turbochargers and electronic throttle control - this is one of the most sophisticated powerplants on Earth and, damn it, every hour of its development has been well worth it."
ps. if your only replies will be that you heard from someone or just saw on youtube that a company spent bazillion $$ on modding a skyline etc then don't bother, esp those who haven't driven/experienced both motors and think that VTEC will allow them to time travel - seriously no time in trying to get the approval of your very small minds.
