Ofcourse you do. but its eCVT not regular CVT in aqua / prius c.

And I have observed the opposite: Aqua seems to be quicker than Axio probably due to its smaller body.

My engine has been running a bit rough lately. Here are the observable problems:

• It's very loud; idles at about 1,200 rpm
• In stop and go traffic, with very little battery, accelerating makes the rpm shoot to 1,500, but braking brings them back to 1,000. So the process looks like this: 1,500 (accelerate) --> 1,000 (brake) ---> 1,500 (accelerate) ---> 1,000 (brake). It is very strange and jerky because this is happening at less than 15 km/h.
• Battery to engine conversion is rough sometimes, and there's a noticeable shake when that happens.

Anyone have access to a maintenance schedule for these cars? Between 49,000 km and now (75,000 km), apart from regular maintenance (oil and air filter), I have only had the spark plugs, throttle body, and MAF sensor service and transmission oil changed.

This is normal behavior of the engine when the battery exhausts. i hope you use 0w20 oil for the engine.

I figured. And yes, I use 0W20. I will also test a coworker's car just in case.

I also have another question: does the car come with 4 speakers as standard? It either doesn't or my rear ones are busted.

Look for oem speakers in kabar. Hopefully u ll get them from shops selling doors.

I bought Fielder 2015 model, mileage 22km/L on 175/65/15 tyre but due to ground clearance problem changed by 195/65/15 and mileage drop to 19. Using HiOctane.

Hello Everyone,

I recently bought an Axio Hybrid G 2014, so far I have been very happy with the car, and its been serving me good and vice versa.

After I bought the car, which was from another person, who imported in himself, I immediately did the following:

1. Change Engine Oil with 5w30 (it was at 106k KM)
2. Got the Catalytic Converter cleaned up without getting it opened
3. Tyres were in bad shape, so bought new ones, old ones were 195/65/15, I bought 205/65/15, since the tyres are big, although there was no ground clearance issue, but the tyres were touching the body when going through rough jumps, so I got half-inch spacers installed on all 4. It does give a bit of a jumpy effect since the suspension is a bit hardened, but I can live with that.

4. Replaced the spark plugs, since the old ones had all the iridium tip gone, so replaced them with some new good Japanese iridium tip plugs.

5. Planning on getting the eCVT fluid replaced ATF WS since I have read that it should be replaced at every 100k KM, and although the car is hybrid, and its been driven around 52% of all its lifetime on battery, but I think its best to get it replaced, since atmospheric conditions are not ideal here

I just want to ask if I have overdone anything, or if there is anything else to keep the car in good health, then I would like to know all your opinions, and since I am fresh here, I would also like to keep in touch with all of you seasoned owners, so that I can get good tips from you all.

In addition to all the blabbering above, i would also like to know the following:
Although my car is a G Package, but it does not have a keyless entry or push start, is there any way to get that installed after market, but should be OEM.
Auto-sensing headlights function is working partially, it only switches the headlights on or off, but the auto-dimming is not working, also the 'AUTO' light on the meter screen sorry for the not proper name) does not light up, somebody told me that it should light up when this function is working properly, does anyone know of any electrician, who can check this thing for me, and fix it if it could be fixed.

Any input from any of you would be greatly appreciated.

Push Start is Paid Extra in Japan, G version does not mean it will come with Push start

The OEM size is 175/65/15, 205 is too big, you are not enjoying the true pleasure of this car by compromising suspension.

I agree with you here, but since now I have got these I will have to live with these for their lifespan, but once these are done, then I might go back to 195/65/15, and I do know that OEM are 175/65/15, but I might not go for those.

I prefer 0w20, i would suggest you the same.

I might try that next, since sometimes i do feel like there is some knocking on the engine side, when the car shifts from motor to engine, maybe this will resolve the issue.

I have Halogen Lamps, and how can I check if my car has that Safety Assist in it or not, I do not have the original auction sheet with me, is there any way to check that without that paper?

I would also like to share that when I got the car, it was giving me around 22 KM/liter avg, and after getting all these things done, and with normal driving style, I am getting around 27 KM/liter easily.
I am an average driver, and do not care much to maintain the average while driving, only check the stats when I reach the destination.

AOA I read that Axio Hybrid recommended oil is 0 W20, which oil are you using? Anybody has a service schedule for this car? In this way we shall know what maintenance to do when the car gets older
