I can understand the state of mind which you are currently going through. I had been thinking on the same lines however I am yet to replace the things which you have mentioned as it has not given me a problem yet. I had been calculating and comparing / analyzing the figures that the amount which we save in terms of fuel is usually reinvested in the hybrid car in case of fault in hybrid battery or the ABS. This being the case then why not a non hybrid model.. Now coming to your question of choosing a replacement.. I say that if coming from an Axio hybrid then you should move to nothing less that a Grande. Even grande will not give you the driving pleasure of Axio, but this is the best of your 3 options. I m driving an axio 18/21, with 37k on ODO, since its import at 11k.
When should i do the battery fan service ?
And what about the Brake fluid replacement ?
Everything is fine till date Alhamdulillah. No issues at all.

What would be a fair price for a 2017 Axio. Was imported at 40k (4 grade) and currently at 110k. 1 owner, service records available. Can with a section of the rear fender and rear door painted and a section of the front door too. Confirmed that through pakwheels inspection. Both bumpers are painted but overall, the rating is almost 9. Key start and doesn't have cruise control (But the wiring for that is already all there even in the ECU so it just needs to be installed and plugged in). Car was in idle mode for over 10 minutes on just the battery. Engine never kicked in for those 12 or so minutes while the car was getting inspected ( I suppose thats a good sign considering this is my first hybrid )

Just want to know what's a good offer for such a car.

Right, so I bought the car. Been driving it since yesterday and it's fantastic. Did a ton of work today which I'll write up here

Just a few questions

1) my car does not come with the cruise control but It can be installed. However my meter does not have the cruise control light (at least I can't see it). Do I need to change the meter if I want to install it?

2) I also am aware that the z links and the subframe bushes need to be replaced. These are available new I hope? In general, id probably be replacing all the bushes to be on the safe side. Any recommendations where to get these parts?

3) I also don't have the auto headlights stalk but have other features like lane departure, auto high beam etc. can I install the auto headlights stalk as a direct replacement ?

Congratulations. ALLAH SWT make it safe and beneficial for you.

1. Cruise is a convenient feature especially for longer journeys. Every light in the meter has its separate small little compartment at the back coupled with provision in the wiring harnesses. The answer lies in close inspection or opening of the meter. A convenient method could be to park it in a way that direct sunlight illuminates the meter and usually all the available light become visible.

2. If you intend keeping it for sometime, it is suggested to replace the rubber and perishable parts like bushes, boots, pads and fluids once and for all for peace of mind. I make my purchases from parts central. Recently purchased shock absorbers, filters, brake oil, brake shoes, door indicator light, wiper rubber refills. I am satisfied so far and had a good experience.

3. The auto headlights system is not only about the stalk. It requires a photo sensitive sensor on the dash boars (near the windshield) and the allied wiring for it. If you have that then stalk is the only addition you require.

Hi. So i do have the sensor at the top of the dash near the windscreen. Pulled it out and it's even connected to a wiring harness. So that should pretty much be a straight forward swap of the stalk with the auto headlight feature to get things going

Secondly, I also wanted to install some fog lights. Got some OE Valeo foglights and was surprised to see that the wiring is already present behind the dash. That's a relief since I won't have to wire it up myself ( I don't trust shops to install foglights on my cars because they do jugaari work to get things going and I hate that )

The original light stalk also has the fog light switch which would be nice to have to get the fog lights running. Hoefully I'll get these 2 things done over the weekend.

My current speedo does not have the cruise control indicator so I'm probably going to look for one that does too. Just to confirm, did the 3rd facelift models have a language change option on the info screen on the speedo?

BTW, these are of no use to me now so if anyones interested in taking them. Original fog light covers. Found the original wiring clipped into the base of these

Also, if anyone has the original hoodliner (Nambda as locally called), i'll take it off. Asked a few shops and they quoted me 10-15k for the original one. That's a bit steep no?
