Your car does not have CVT gearbox, it is called eCVT which is altogether a different things, hence it needs different gear oil (I can't recall the number at the moment) also these gearboxes don't need frequent change of gear oil, as per company manual they are for lifetime of car (in worst case change every 100000km)
For your problem, I'll suggest you to go to a proper diagnosis scan and also which engine oil are you using?

The right oils for this engine are
0w20
5w30
Otherwise switching of engine will not be smooth.

Try to change petrol pump, sometimes bad fuel also cause this kind of issue. (low mileage)
You said earlier that you changed CVT oil as well, CVT oil is not recommended for this car, you should use ATF WS oil.

I didn't change CVT oil my car mileage is 77k now. Its recommend on 100000.

Dear Fezan, i shared my toyota fielder hybrid 2014 problem. I just cam back after long drive approx 450 km. During drive when i drive approx 70 km when i pull my foot from throttle engine rpm goes up and down slightly.
2. Batteries are charged but engine is not turning off and car us not running on ev mode.
My car millage is 79000 i did not change cvt oil yet.
3. There are 2 button 1 is Eco and 2 is EV mode when i try to on EV mode msg says EV cannot on some time it turn on but goes off after 40km speed exceed.

Any solution i am really upset

1 & 3 are normal behavior.
For 2; Engine runs itself for following reason
i. Engine temperature not optimum
Ii. Not enough charge available in Hybrid batteries to meet power requirements
Get your car scanned for issue
It is a phenomenon when battery cannot hold charge, the indicator shows full for a while and the suddenly discharge.
As per my knowledge, these cars give a warning message when battery pack is weak, scan your car to check for that.
Also resetting the ecu by disconnecting 12V battery for 5 minutes might resolve the issue.
One more thing I'll like to mention is which engine oil are you using (use 0w20)

what is the recommended transmision oil for axio hybrid. toyota charges a hefty 11000 rs for oil change so should i look for some decent local mechanic for oil change?? i hope its not too technical in case of hybrid vehicles. urgent reply needed

The required gear oil is ATF WS
Toyota Dealerships are rip off, they even don't know the technicality of these cars.

Assalam o Alikum brothers.
Got my 2014 fielder hybrid WXB ( fully loaded package ) in black on 2nd Nov 2017. I'm very particular about the maintenance as you all are.
First thing I did after getting the car was changing engine oil and filters ( oil, air, cabin etc)...
I'm using only German fully synthetic liqui moly 5w 30 or proficar German engine oil which is equally good as liqui moly...
Got computer scanned, ABS service, proficar cat cleaner, proficar windshield sprinkle cleaner etc etc. Complete maintainance Alhumdolillah.
Mashallah it's an amazing car in all aspects.
Alhumdolillah excellent fuel economy of 20 km pl on highway and easily 26 kmpl in city with AC. I've witnessed the economy as high as 34 kmpl during winters.
Its a reasonably sized car but the acceleration is too good. Very stable on high speeds. I simply love it...!!!! Mashallah

Congratulations brother,
I'm using Axio for 13 months now, Alhamdulillah great car.
I just take care of oil and oil filter
As air filter is very clean so far so is cabin filter, but I do clean them with pressurized air.
Two days ago I even accelerated to full speed 180kmph

No doubt about the reliability and stability of this car. It's as stable on 180 as on 120.
Initially I had lil idea about this car but as days pass while I'm driving it, literally I'm lovin it. ..!!!
