This is not only wid camry...every car in india is way cheaper compared to pk...especialy the imported cars hav a very big difference...Accord in india costs 18 lakh...while here Honda is selling it in 56 lakh...Wat the HECK!!
Car prices in India can be made available easily available on different sites and according to that it comes to know that the prices of different car varies according to available model. Similarly there lies difference in the amount of car from one country to another. <o:p></o:p>
no car in our market justifies its price tag.
and to think than once prices in our country were far more affordable than India.
well over camery i would prefer nissan trenea which is soon coming. hopefully it would be in the range of 35-45 and its a aweosme car. go see ur self

Nissan Trenea is an under power vehicle. But good that it is coming, competition might forced Camry price down.
According to my understanding, the Camry we have is a Japan made.
India Camry might be local production or from Thai. Anyone can confirmed?
If we apply the simple formula of dollar difference rate than the price of Camry in Pak should be around 45 lacs as compared with indian price. Indus motors price is 67.5 lacs.Camry in india: 2400000/- (A/T)Dollar rate: 45/-In dollars : 53333/-so we multiply USD 53333 with our dollar rate i.e. 84/- so the price should be Rs. 4480000/-Still a big difference of Rs. 2270000/- Is mulk main sub loot rahay hain sub ko.
Still if someone wants to spend lot of money on a 2.4l car than save 1 million rupees and buy Accord for 57 lacs. A much better car in looks, quality and style.
@ratsAs far as I remember, currently Camry is being sold in India is imported, however local assembled Camry is going to start rolling out soon. Accord however has been assembled in India for quite some time now (along with civic/civic hybrid as well)
Thanks froggyjump for enlighten me on this. A friend of mine went to the Delhi Auto show, told me the build quality of India Altis is way better than what we have here.
Wonder what is Indus Motor doing here
