wow , great looking car .... would need a lot to be done to handle the power of 1jzgte , the wheel base is too narrow and it will handle like a "LOTA" ... finding RWD 3sgte is very very difficult .... sr20 would be too expensive .... think you can find a beams 3sge its 180 - 200 hp its a worthy choice ... though rebuilding its own engine is a good idea too

im lucky enough to find one mashaALLAH .... but these day cash inflow is a bit low ... so its on hold .....

I know this car since 1998... the previous owner used to live in Saddar (GPO Lane)... It was kept very well but have been neglected for the last few years...

Excellent car, have seen one in my childhood in my neighbourhood, It was rare even at that time. I wont suggest a 3S of JZ engine. Try to keep it as uch stock a spossible. If it oha sits own engine, just rebuild it and dont fiddle with suspension as well. What are the first 4 characters of chassis code BTW, RT50 or something else?

I always thought Carina is similiar to Corona but man this is an adaptation of celica with 2T engine, even chassis code is A which is Celica. It has its own engine?

yeah i agree with u 1jz is a bit bigger to be controlled by this car ... so im more into putting a 3sgte in it

ahan i grown up seeing this ride their every sunday morning we used to go to saddar and i see it there and i think previously this car had bottle green color and now i appreciated how this car survived through out the years as climate of peshawar is hot so rust is very less plus there used to be a good 76 corolla parked right with this car
Brings back a lot of memories. just bro try to keep it stock as this is a survivor

yes thats my house at GPO lane .... this car is with our family from the very beginning.... first owner was my DADDY .. then his uncle ... then my chacha who ruined its beauty dramatically ... and now me ....

I have spend my childhood near Saddar... its like my second home

I know Jumma khan's sons very well.. back in 2005-6 their workshop was near house (near Press Club).. they had also a mint 50's Opel rekord... perhaps 8k miles on the clock when they bought in 2005... any idea where did it go?

Correction buddy: there is one other... original color... very nice condition... I have spotted it near Kahlid bin Waleed Park a number of time... i think the owner lives somewhere near fort road...
