Aoa. Bro plz share ur experience ? Coz i am also facing the same issue but hr mechanic ka apna mashwera ha. Someone says duet compressor is best, someone is suggesting honda life, someone says old model corolla. Now i am confused what to do. Mjhy gari k load se issue ha cooling beshak normal kry but load say drive ka maza nhi aata na he fuel avg sahi ati ha

I am having trouble with corolla AC, as the car is idle the AC stops working and rest while in motion there is no problem what so ever.

Today i was busy in my Gli ac/compressor issue but problem still exists.
First we installed city 15 model compresser, cooling was awesome but load pahly jesa tha. Then we installed honda Life compressor now cooling is normal & load b ha para.
Ac wala is saying k ap gari theek krwaeyn coz Life ka compressor bilqul load nhi daalta.
Jb k i have already spent alot of money on my car regarding its clutch, injectors, coils, plugs, fuel pump etc.
Now last option is ya engine change krun ya sale kr du qk problem ksi ko pta nhi chal rha.

Can anyone tell me the fuel tank capacity of Corolla XLI 2009 model? Is it 50 or 55 liters?

55L for 2009 / 2014

As per my experience, from empty tank (Low Fuel Light) to Tank Top-up (Auto-Stop), i have never got more than 44-45 liter.

The capacity is 55L, there is some fuel in the tank when the low fuel light turns up.

Same for the E170 models, makes me really wonder about the 55L stated capacity. 10L of reserve sound crazy to me. Really makes me want to test it until it is completely dead

11th Gen corolla is a piece of trash honestly
I also owned a GLi 1.3 Manula for 3 years 2021-2024
the 3 years of bliss
then in 2024 bought 11th Gen Altis 1.6 Auto
instantly realized how bad
- the drive was (jumping castle on wheels)
- fuel average 9not getting more 8-9 km/l in city , GLI gave 12-13 km/l in city)
- handling, stability, road grip cornering and overall high speed cruising prowess are totally non existent (we have driven GLI 2011 at 180 Km/h and it was stable as a rock)
- comfort is extrememly pathetic, hard seats, with no lumbar support and just overall poor design
- the dashboard, tooh high field of view effected, too low front, doesn't help when have to park, i always park it in reverse bcz rear camera is there
- build quality, 10th Gen was solid, no issues in alignment, and no suspension sounds
11th Gen has suspension sounds even tho i got it checked extensively and they found nothing

Overall
10th Gen was the last time a Corolla made me happy
11th Gen took my dislike for corolla to new heights, i despise it now

Well Altis has bigger wheels compared to the GLI you owned so there is difference in comfort although nothing significant for you to say jumping castle on wheels unless it's a piece of trash.

It ain't a Porsche. It'a a piece of trash as you've said. No one complained in highway driving in the limits or slightly above speed limits.

Well how bout you get fender mirror installed which comes from factory in Prados and Surfs? I've seen some people using for their fielders and axio.

MY GLi had the same 15 inch alloy rims like the Altis
and my car has after market leather seats from the Grande
installed by the previous owner, we bought it used
it was uncles friends, with fulls services history
Infact 2 months before selling he did a complete overhaul of the suspension

And no my Altis is pristine overall
my dad bought it bcz it was "ghar ki gari hai lelo"
I had my reservations
I have got it checked it from our family mechanic, he has been fixing our cars since 1990, and he gave this car an all clear
So now mine is not piece of trash 11th Gen overall is a piece of trash
Got it checked from Toyota Graden Motors as well
now unless they are jerks of the worst kinds, giving "a piece of trash" car all clear idk.

You cannot conclude every vehicle is trash based on unique problem you are facing unless that what helps you sleep better at night.
