In 1.8 category neither Civic nor Corolla "cross" 200 like a piece of cake. And no neither of them are sports cars. One can barely touch 200 and the other can touch 205-210 maybe and thats pretty much about them.

IMO nothing to obsess over or score points on and I have kept both and still keep and drive one.

Collinite is better, could be my feeling only. Tonyin gives same kind of gloss. Son tested and he reported that in terms of water beading the one on right is better. Have not yet used middle one.

The left one was applied on Grande in June and yesterday applied the one on the right.

Brother in Pak imc Toyota Corolla there s no lock on speed except that if u r running grande with trc. Traction vsc on it will not exceed 190km
Whereas if u off the trc traction off it will reach 215km with normal petrol n high octane upwards.
In this video trc is on or speed lock is on so car cannot go beyond 190 as ecu trc cut the power to maintain stability

But do u know that paki drivers r hell drivers who drove Cultus 2005 model on 160 km/h as ma Czn did
N xli till 178km so at least grande n civic r faster than that.
Actually maintenance of cars oil lubrication tunning tyres etc are basic things which count ur car capacity having top speed.
Might be u v not kept that cars in that way to achieve speed more than 200km/h

My question was sarcastic. Its pretty dumb to put a "speed limiter" on any car:

1. Whose acceleration "naturally" starts to die after 180.
2. Is sold in a country where there are no such speed governing laws and regulations (in terms of top speed) put on car manufacturers.
3. OEM tyres have a low speed rating.
4. Is a mass produced economy class/category car.

Where did you get this information that Grande has a speed limiter?

I never drove it much above 140-150. At what speed does this speed limiter kick in?

There are tons of videos of Grande and Civic with their engines dying of power at 200. Not sure where you get this information from that Grande does 215. Fact is that its engine loses power after 180-190. Videos speak for themselves. If you have a video of any stock 1.8 car touching 215 on a straight road then please bring it up.

Grande gives "pedal response" till 190? Others dont? Please bring good quality facts that make sense on this otherwise unneccesary debate.

Grande does not crosses 198 km/h its limited, anyone claming going above 198 kmh please bring the video, yes limiter can be removed but it wont be any good.

Brother I myself drove stock grande 2017 model FL 210km /h when gojra mtway to Abdul Hakeem was not officially opened but was in ready position just like now a day's sukhar to Multan is unofficially can be used with authority .
N my Czn drove grande 2015 model 215 km/h on isl mtway near kot momin at night 3pm.
I will send u video next time when I will be in a mood to run it at top speed from gojra to Abdul Hakeem.
Speed limiter is not in pk grande it's any other country Altis.

Now a days speedo cameras on lhr to Abdul Hakeem are partial active as installed every 2 km after distance so at there speed is to be kept normal.
I still believe as heard by friends that with high octane it goes more than 220

It's not dumb! Everything is there for a reason, speed limiters are there to save engine and cvt gearbox. Removal will result in abnormal wear on both.
Oem tyres are rated H which means 210km/h.
I own this car, and I have driven it all the way to limiter. Why do I have to get information about speed limiter then? Yes it is limited at 195km/h. Even cruise control is limited. You can only set it upto 180km/h.
