There will be both type of handbrakes depending on the trim level.

Corolla hatch has ebrake. Some countries also got ebrake in hybrid version.

I wish Indus introduces the hybrid version in Pakistan. Thailand has it so there might be a possibility. However, it would be a first for any local assembler to sell locally assembled hybrid in Pakistan. The ebrake pic I posted above is from the toyota thai brochure.

Only Hybrid version has ebrake. Rest of the models have conventional handbrake.

I'm sure about the excitement but not so sure about the Asian Altis in it's latest design, I feel Toyota designers lost the plot somewhere and put together a low slung 90s Elantra with cutouts and a huge bum.I'm getting old and i drive an Altis too but i'll pass on this one and the US version also, it looks like a fish about to expire, I hope they don't charge a king's ransom for this car if they launch it in Pak. It ain't worth it, acc. to me. The suspension has to be reworked for south asian roads.

Sir please move on from the ebrake. I can easily see from the website that only the hybrid has it. It is downright stupid to argue over what kind of handbrake this car has. A certain person who asked about the ebrake has deleted his comment yet here you are still hammering on the same point again and again.

My point was - it would be great if we get a locally assembled hybrid Corolla by Indus.

LOL! Looks like Toyota tried really hard this time to make a baby Camry instead of giving the Corolla it's own personality. However, I do think the interior is a step up from the previous generation.

Considering the micro size of the Pakistani market, King's ransom is a given lol.I can already see it somewhere near the 45lac ballpark.

Just 45? ..by the time it will come in showrooms, price cannot be predicted. However, more interesting point is how imc will launch 12th gen in this situation

This Thai version looks more like a facelift model of current generation and have very conventional design unlike Civic X and new Elantra 2021.

Interior is better than current generation but still dashboard is raised and that billboard in the centre looks horrendous.
