Yup... I mostly encountered outer joint issues...
My first car mehran used to jerk while accelerating and decelerating... at that time even mechanics suspected foundation but it might have been this inner cvj issue I guess...

Sorry by foundation did you means mounts?
Actually damage mounts causes a car vibrates a lot.....reason is because they aren't covering up the vibration produced by the engine which the have to and also causes damage to the chassis.

exactly... the mounts. So that was the inner cvj for sure which caused a jerk with "dhag" sound engine used to move (jerk) forward or backward while moving from complete stop in either fwd or rwd direction.

Yes but I don't understand why our local mechanics don't remove the real problem rather then just " chawaliyan" .
I thought that it's the basic education problem

But not in all cases... We need to go to them because those who are good charge so high and are proud....
Consider my cultus devloped knocking after oil was lost completely due to seal leak. Some suggested complete engine overhaul and some said 8-10k charges as engine will have to be taken down and bla bla bla...
The job was done in 2200 only by opening oil sump and replacing half set of bigend (pieces in local term) by local mechanic

Yup ... also depends on how well you know the mechanic and a little bit tech... that mechanic could be called our family mechanic lol
so he was honest about the job

Pata nahi hamary mechanics ko ye baat kab samaj aye gi k be.immani sy kamaya hua paissa...dhooka...bemari...musibat or nuksaan ki surat ma nikal jata ha and also now a days is digital era even a dump person can know about everything function by just sitting and reading on internet...how. could they be your costumers again after digesting batryer from mechanic. No they will never ever come...they should fit this in their minds..

Exactly ...they r not respecting their profession...dented is an artist in my point of view..they should work according to the money..not only denters...the mechanics are big bluffs..they will told u that ur xyz part need repair or service..then they will charge and demand for such a big amount in return that one will argue and querl with them as a result they spoil their dignity and respect in front of you...next time u will not go or trusts him.
