Na bhai na itna dukhi nae hona Bhai apko ek raaz ki baat btata hon....i had feel difference between parts prices now maybe i'm wrong but there is difference between parts prices and availability also. Remember when i started my cars work, parts are very difficult to locate and also rarely avaliable but now parts are slightly cheap.this is because of availability. Maybe this is due to afghanboder as i heard that parts of 86,90,96 are going there due to demand @asadalizai what you think? And about Eg civic your absolutely right you have to start from beginning whether you bought the car in damn clean condition. And honestly i drive Eg oftenly and i don't feel a big difference in handling (both are dropped) no doubt Eg is comfortable but still.....and same for ae101 (non dropped) .

My view is that corolla parts for 86, 88 and 96 are becoming expensive by the day. Shop keepers have realized that these cars are now popular with enthusiast so they have increased prices...adding to this problem is the fact that very few shop keepers deal in older car parts

As for EG vs e8x/e9x/e10x corolla comparison I consider EG chassis and suspension setup far superior. Only e8x chassis has weight advantage over EG other than that no comparison in terms of handling and high speed stability.

I previously owned an ES (vti oriel) 80k driven and I sold that to buy an EG. I think even ES doesn't compare to EG in terms of handling. I felt ES heavier and having more body roll than EG

In terms of comfort ES is far better than EG because of improved ergonomics and space

yes bhai double wishbone suspension is better then macpherson suspension....but it also become a headache when it got issue....
i also had driven ES both auto and manual yes it's comfortable but EG feel's better to me.
In handling don't feel any difference between both 86 and EG within 150km/h may be more then this difference appears but bhai there should be as 86 is 10 years older then EG.
But in all these cars Ae101 is end

But still Peshawar...pindi and islamabad..is full of 86 corolla as I had visited recently and had a keen survey on road..
Even if u check olx and pakwheel people had given adds of selling their 86 like other model cars which mean that this car is still in business.
Bas bhai...ab car fit ki ha apny use k liye..can't imagine to sell it..lol
Or waissy b agar app ko 86 chahiye ho gi to gold k rate k hissab sy milly gi...lakin agar app bachna chahty hain to cast iron k Hissab sy bikky gi..lol

My EG is bone stock.... no sway bar in the rear no strut bar nothing but at high speeds it handles better than my ae82 GT with factory sway bars,strut bars and body support....Double wishbone suspension makes alot of difference as it puts more rubber on ground which is always better for handling..So putting corolla in-front in terms of handling is unfair. And trust me there are no headaches in Honda suspension except extra cost which is totally understandable as civic has more moving parts in suspension. It is more complex in comparison to corolla but it is no rocket science.

Pakistani mechanics obviously try to downplay civic suspension because it more work for them in figuring out the problem and putting it back together.

This is coming out of a guy who has driven fwd 5th gen corolla most of his life and is absolutely in love with 5th gen corollas

ES is more comfortable because it has more space, Mac Pherson strut in front and improved sitting posture. All these things result in more comfortable journey during long drives in comparison to EG

bhai hamara liya difficult nae hai suspension but for a normal guy it is. As we play with the things on our own.
bhai i accepts the bads of 86 as i told before. I not only love 86 i love all JDM's believe me and in these kind of cars Ae101 is my most favorite.
