I guess this is from a reconditioned version. This also seems to be a GL not DX.

Aslk all, can any source me a good condition fuel tank for ke70, need it for my restoration project. If price is high that's ok but condition should be excellent, minimum rust and dirt.

Assalam o alaikum dear 82 corolla owners and Fans
I have some queries regarding my 82 corolla but i am very disappointed already after going through the previous threads that there is almost no activity and response to problems in the group. Still i m hopeful that experts will give me some soggestions regarding my issues.
My car is GL version london model and with 4k engine. Now there are some issues with the engine which are
1. Overheating. No AC installed but still heating persisting even after a very small drive. I flushed the radiator but of no use. Radiator water levels get low all the time. Mechanic told me to change head gasket, timing belt and water belt along with radiator.
2.Oil levels gets low and black coloured whenever i check it. There is also some oil leakage on the engine seals
3.Gear is full of noise whenever its in 1st or 2nd gear
Solutions and suggestions needed. I m based in rawalpindi and the most important thing is i need to know best mechanic with this engine and model.

It appears that your running gear needs complete replacing as it not worth it to spend money on this setup any more .

all depends on your budget , the easiest is to install a 7K with G-52 if thats fits in your budget otherwise you have to locate a good 4K/5K engine and install a replacement K-40/K50 transmission. I have a very good K-40 lying at my place in islamabad if you want that .

Though 5K is very heavy on fuel being non efi .
