TE71 and original AE70 chassis, bought this and is not in bad condition. Ready for a slow restoration. First needs a proper wash.
TE is a performance series which were further names as GT . They came with T series engines probably non of original TE corolla is here. All are AE having A series engines.
if i'm not wrong then only US market had TE 70/71 with 1.8 litr emgine.
Japan got all of them including 2T-GEU TE71
Can any one explain the difference between DX, GL, SE versions of Corolla 80.
Differences between trims.Like DX is base model, then SE is fully loaded one. GL lies between. Trims like rpm cluster, power mirrors etc.

SE also had hydraulic plastic bumpers. Antenna. Door panels, arm rest. These were 1.6 with 5wd manual transmission.
