Moreover..... How do the following two compare?

Owning a car with ditto similar-shaped dozens of 1.3 and 1.6 siblings standing next to you on every signal, making you feel like "just another brick in the wall"

versus

Owning a car with considerably lesser similar cars around you, every time you hit the road.

Even mercedes have models with similar shape from 1.8 l to 6.2 l engines but they dont have a problem with that.Same with bmw audi

How many Mercs and Audis do you see on Pakistani Roads. Your logic is not relevant and the brands you've quoted above cannot be compared with Toyota.

BOTTOM LINE: For those who do not have a problem in owning something which :

a) every tom, dickk and harry around you, owns;

b) you identify in a parking lot by looking at the registration number plate - because there are darn too many same shape same colour cars standing there;

c) offers you better resale at the expense of driving pleasure....

Then all the power to you. You truly Deserve the new Corolla GaramAnday.

For the "other" few ....... there's ​CIVIC.

I remember whenever a corolla passed by from our car may it be xli/gli or even altis my driver used to say "woh dekho yaar XLI jaa rai hai"

I just hate that 7 speed cvt. It has absolutely ZERO feel to the car. What good are those +/- on the gear or on the steering when you cannot feel the gear change. Technically speaking, it doesn't change gears, it just changes the ratio. Hence you only see the rpm go up or down without any jerk or feel, which I find very dull and boring. The traditional auto tranny on the old altis and the civic is much better, you get that downshift jerk and the engine tone with proper gears. Which I agree is not as fun as a manual but still waay ahead of cvt. Toyota should have kept the tradition shifting tranny with triptronic option in grande

I would say, it is STILL ugly.

If you are a frequent traveler to the country side, rural areas or just have a lot of family members who all the time need to be pushed into the car cabin, go for the Grande Altis. On the other hand, if you are mostly a city, urban dweller with a more passionate inclination toward driving , choose the Civic Oriel. Personally, I would buy Civic Oriel because of more instant driving experience, better seat comforts and the security factor. Corolla on the road is more likely to be more exposed to thefts and security checks than Civic. Civic is a little more expensive than Grande Altis ...

Compare 1.8 altis manual with civic manual.
P.s you seem to be new to cars tab he you're saying this.
Pori duniya manti hai corolla has the softest ride of them all.
And that makes it more comfortable.

Can anyone give me a neutral review of both the latest and high end models (Civic VTI oriel PROSMATEC VS ALTIS grande)

I need reviews of a person who has actually driven both cars for some time (not just test drive)

As far as i've heard (till the previous shape of corolla) people used to say "lambay route pe corolla thaka deti hai civic mein banda thakta nai"

So kindly give a complete neutral and fair review

I have test driven Altis grande but never drove this new civic so please do let me know and a detailed comparison will be preferred
