Dont think non hybrid variant will ever come as above 1300 cc gst will be charged at 25% while hybrids get 8.5% gst.
corolla cross non hybrid will be 16.5% costlier than corolla cross hybrid even if we deduct hybrid parts cost dont think it will be cheaper than hybrid version.

Anyone know what's the fuel tank capacity of cross? pakwheels spec page shows 36 liters which feels wrong even a normal corolla sedan like Altis Grande has 55L

Took delivery from Toyota Chakwal and drove to DHA 2 Isb , very smooth ride and gave average of 22km/l on GT road drove with light foot
filled up 2k worth of petrol coz wasn't sure about the fuel quality there , needle was below E and after filling went above quater tank mark , after reaching ISB it was exactly at quarter fuel mark.
Suspension is really soft and absorbs bumps quute well , Pick isn't good but isn't bad i'll say its adequate.

For city driving, yes true. You can think of it as double tank. But on motorway, it will not give you more than 18kpl because on motorways, engine keeps running all the time until or unless you are using pulse n glide technique.

no need for pulse and glide it is very intelligent the battery actually tries to maintain speed by turning off engine and then it works along with the engine too on high speeds. the city and motorway mileage is almost the same.

it is for MID variant. HIGH is booked till April.

I have not seen any hybrid which give same mileage in city and on motorway. Motorway mileage is always less assuming the speed is 110~120 kph. If you drive at 80~90, then that's a different story.
Malaysian owners claim mileage of 20~23 kpl in city. I would be very surprised if it give the same mileage at 120 kph. Lets wait for real owners to comment on this

Well, I have new HRV and I want to sell it (if anyone want's to buy please let me know).

I am now visiting different showrooms to choose another car. My second visit was to Toyota Showroom in township to check out the cross.

What I have found that it is totally unsuitable for a family of 5. You can only choose it if the 5th member is a child. I found it quite congested as compared to hrv and new city, the car somehow feels full (a feeling) and my three children cannot fit in it. the middle seat protrudes 2-3 inches and most probably it will not be appreciable to small children also.

however, if you are a family of 4 persons, then this could be the car for you.

Another point, the video stops functioning as soon as your car starts running. Now on long runs, how will your family be entertained? Same is the problem in civic and sportage, my reason for rejecting them.

First mod I wanted to do was get sun shades , but couldn't find anything , didn't wanna get tints for obvious reasons , searched around and bought these custom made curtains , they are custom made for car with proper cutout and it has Velcro on the sides so it fits tightly around the window just like a sunshade. Expensive but well worth it imo.
Got the rear quater glass and Rear back screen Tinted.
