Yes city has deeper depth of the trunk as compared to hrv. Anyways when we are travelling , everything fits in the trunk. The back seats of hrv are lot more comfortable with more leg room then the city. I had city 1.2 cvt and had to sell it because the steering was making noise and also slipped once. Also water was coming inside the drivers area and honda could not search out where it was coming from.
hrv's middle seat is a problem for my kids as it is raised minimum 2 inches from the two other seats. There was no such problem in city. However at 120 on motorway, the engine used to scream out and it was a problem trying to keep it at 120 with full load. however people who have bought 1.2 manual don't have any problem and are also getting a lot better mileage then the 1.2 cvt, and the car is fast also. I met a person in murree who had climbed till Dilkusha Hotel with 5 full grown people and 4 kids without any problem and he also showed me a video and his city was at 188 km speed on the motorway with 3 persons
