Just came back from Toyota Capital Motors (I9 Islamabad).
I went for 10,000kms service for 2019 FL Grande.
What I observed:
- I took appointment for the service, reached on time @ 8:30AM - appointment doesn't help you to escape queue.
- Service Rep did not explain what work would be done on car, until I asked him to explain,
- Service Rep did not mention which oil they would use, until I asked
- Service Rep asked if i want to be billed for 5.0l oil or 4.2l
- Service Rep mentioned brake service was done with the 10k service,
- I asked to update Android unit - it was updated.
- Service was completed in 1.5 hours roughly,
- Total Charges PKR 8,878
Things that bothered me:
- Poor Customer service,
- When handing over the car for service, the car was not checked for damages,
- No document as proof was provided when the car was taken for service,
- The car was taken for service without putting any plastic cover on seats/steering wheel/gear shift knob,
- After service, Service Rep did not debrief if any issues were found in the car,
In the end I feel getting car service done at official Toyota dealership wasn't worth it. I could have gone for similar service and no customer service to any local lube changing store.
