Tire Upgrade Update
So after careful considerations, and looking into the yoko blue-earths es32, I decided to try the Nanoenergy3 tires. Wasn't convinced too much from the blue-earths but that's probably because I've been using advan-db and these didn't impress me. Regarding the nexen tires, I've heard good reviews even within the family. The nefra Su4 are great tires but I was on the hunt for a set of tires that were quite and comfortable rather than performance and grippy
The nanoenergy3 are exactly what I was looking for. My corolla is heavily sound deadened and I needed tires which would minimise the road noise close to 0. I also don't drive fast so at speeds between 90-110, the NE3 are almost dead silent. They might be slightly louder on regular cars but in my case with even the fender linings and plastic trims being deadened, these are brilliant.
Regarding the grip, I have a long S bend near Bahria Enclave on my way home. The eurostars ( yes they had done almost 50k ) would feel like they were driving on a wet road. 70-80 was a big ask to keep the car in 1 lane going into that bend. The NE3 are grippy, quite and the braking confidence has drastically improved. Apparently they ain't top rated for wet performance but then again, I don't throw the car at high speeds in corners expecting a raised up 1300cc family saloon to perform like a sports car. All in all, great tires, comfortable, nice sidewall design and they won't eat out your ears while driving. And yeah, for people who think Japenese tires are better, these are made in Japan so there's a bonus lol
