Asslam-o-alaikum! Anyone using Askari General Insurance for their car? What is the best rate which you are getting? Also the percentage which is offered by the insurance company is on total invoice price or the total price less sales tax?

nji 2.2% for altis 1.6. invoice price including gst , dont know about withholding tax.

Adamjee is 2.5% before discount and includes all taxes etc which is comprehensive insurance including 3rd party coverage.

I am also waiting for my 1.6 booked in march TDD is august full payment received at dealership on 13 July but no invoicing wait wait only wait

My grande was invoiced on the 17th but dealership is saying that because of Eid holidays, there was a huge gap in transport. Not only was the transport off for eid days, they didn't start till today. So even after invoicing, still waiting for the car to arrive. First it was expected on Friday, then Monday, then Tuesday and now I've no clue when should I expect it.

Oh and the message I got from Toyota itself was that the car will arrive by the 28th which means tomorrow. All of this is so confusing

no one here to regulate auto industry. no protection to consumers, be it is high price, long delivery time, poor quality, price hike.

have to live with this. My TDD is in Sep but after seeing you guys i am thinking of October.

Yep it's best to assume the worst specially if it's your first car.

Even the text I got officially from Toyota was for tomorrow but the dealership says we don't have the car yet and it takes some time to wash it and perform a quality check so I'm assuming even tomorrow is a no go even if the car arrives.

I mean I paid for a car worth around 3 mil and instead of getting it on the spot, first I had to wait, then I had to pay the price hike and the final nail in the coffin, I won't even be getting it on the mentioned deadline in the official text by the company: here was the text:

TOYOTA:
Dear Junaid Ali,
Good news! Your booked Corolla Altis Grande 1.8 CVT in Super White colour booked under Provisional Booking Order number ******* is expected to reach by 28 Aug 2018 at ****** ****** Motors, who will contact you as soon as the vehicle is ready for delivery.
Please feel free to ask us anything anytime!"

Ask us anything anytime? I called IMC and even they don't know where the car is at the moment and when shall I expect it since the only date I was communicated was the 28th. No updates after that.

My Altis 1.6 Invoiced just now. Initial TDD was September but they revise to August. 3S dealer is Toyota Hyderabad. Payment was done on 19/7/2018.
