I just came across "warranty activation portal" on toyota indus website, so i wanted to ask that do we have to activate warranty online ourself or the dealership would do that on 1st 1000km checkup?

Mai ny warranty activate online karwai thi per jab ap 1000 km first inspection pey jaty ho to dealership warranty activate karti hai aur booklet daiti hai battery plus warranty

All 1.8 variants have reclined seats.

Everyone please have a closer look at the pictures. The pictures are a mix of a 1.8 variant and a 1.6 variant. Rear reclined seats are available in 1.8 variants as per my knowledge and ownership experience. But dont be duped by these pictures. One way to identify how hes using pictures from two separate cars......look at the leatherite cover on the hand break.

Yup the pictures are of two separate vehicles... The first two pics with seat covers are of a 1.8 as sports button can also be seen in the second shot and the gated shift is also of 1.8 cvti so those pics are definitely of a 1.8 car with 60:40 split rear seats along with recliner

My car has been producing rattling noise from the multimedia facia and top of driver side air vent. I have complained multiple times but Toyota Airport motors just opnened the facia and put it back. Basically, just dramay baazi. I want to make a complain to Toyota Japan, anyone has leads about their email id which is responsive in such cases. The noise is getting louder with time.

same was the case with me, when the airbag assembly harness started rattling. First they tried to dismiss but on insistence they opened the dashboard (complete). Found one wire set loose from support clamp tat was rattling. Rectified. (Toyota Southern Karachi). This was when the car was not even driven 1000Km

Yesterday there was rattling noise from above the instrument cluster in the dashboard. Complained and the car is taken in for resolution in warranty (toyota eastern karachi).

You have ot be precise and direct the to open the dashboard and rectify the fault. they dont want to do it until unless forced.

I was told that " Sir naee gari hae, poora dashboard khulega, itni si awaz hae". I told them that open it and fix it, and i want it corrected and refitted 100% or i will not accept the vehicle so be careful and the job was done. It took them a day.

Right now the car is again with them but also had a minor accident and have to get the bumper replaced, so will update in about 5 days the status.
