I think this alpine unit is better than the one in my grande. As that one lags and Waze is unusable due to lag and also sometimes when steering controls stop working but start working a few seconds later. Also when reducing or increasing volume it doesn't do it sometimes and then does it after 2 or 3 seconds

And because its Alpine so the sound quality is much better than the Chinese units

It is recommended to depress brake peddle fully while starting automatic cars. If followed this procedure from day one then there is no grinding sound from Gli auto engine/transmission while shifting from P to D. But even sound now is not something to worry.

Bro which firmware version u have. These same issues was i faced when i bought Grande in August 2017 it was1st FL Grande. After update firmware from dealership these issued resolved.

same here, my brothers Altis CVTi from Aug 2017 has the older firmware and its laggy with a grainy camera. My Grande fron June 2018 has newer firmware and there are no issues.

Second, how the security alarm works in grande. I have checked after locking the car and trying to open the door but the alarm didn't worked.

You can get update on your infotainment. Just call your nearest 3S dealer and they will call the vendor's technician or do it themselves it they have the update on SD card and their staff is trained to do it. Simple 5 minutes job.

The latest update was version 11. I am running version 10 now and no lagging, freezing issues, but before that it was really a pain and had to start a thread urging Indus to recall it.

I also met Indus CEO Mr Ali Asghar Jamali and complained about the infotainment in April.

i'll get them both updated to v11.X as soon as i make a trip to the 3s.

So I just had my 5k maintenance done from TCM, they billed me 17K for it, is that a standard at any 3S dealership? I remember Audi having a fixed charge of 15K for maintenance this is even higher than that :o
