What is purpose of this sticker ypu guys know about that. But pakistani auto industry is just fooling us to only fix this sticker to ensure buyer that this car is checked and approved by technical team but the thing is opposite.

I just checked my infotainment system today after 50km drive. Right side speakers are not working. Headlights focus is out as i noticed on the that day when i pick the car from Showroom.

In this situation we have to check our car by self. So i need suggestions from all the members, now what are the other things that i have to check to claim the company that they have fix.

20000 kms Maintainance cost breakup. From Toyota Ravi.

1) Engine tuning (IT check up, spark plug cleaning).
2) Brake service.
3) General inspection and undercarriage bolt tightening.
4) Oil change (4L taglon) and Oil filter change)

Total cost Rs.9000.
I was surprised to see the price of oil filter has gone upto Rs.1950 for Altis.

Do not get throttle body opened if car is not giving any problem even if the service manager insists.
Also skip wheel balancing and alignment if not required, though they might argue regarding warranty book stampage but simply ask them to take a test drive and if required do it otherwise not.

I am amazed how the warranty has become a menace in Pakistan. The irony is warranty hardly covers anything as dealership keeps telling people about the "weham"..

Has anyone got this multimedia installed in their altis? is it any good? does it involve ripping or grip to grip fitting?

also could you confirm if the radio works fine on it. my main concern is radio as my parents only listen to that. the current facelift alpine unit radio does not work. got it replaced thrice in warranty

Does dirty throttle body have anything to do with lower acceleration ???
I opened the pipe connected to it to clean some areas that were not accessible on my JDM Alto saw a little bit of black residue on the side. I put it back on since i heard that throttle body needs calibration and mileage will go down after cleaning it etc etc so i dont know if i should clean it or not

Any idea of the cost of brake service alone?
I am at 29k odo and yet to have the brake service done. On my last service, asked them to do Bolts and nut tightening. They told me that it’ll cost me 800, I told them to leave it then. They did it complimentary afterwards.

Total labour I paid Rs.3300 for brake service, Engine diagnostics/tuning and general inspection after 10% discount.
I guess its for ~ 2000 didnt ask for breakup.

Even plugs don't require cleaning. Tuning also not needed. You are right about throttle body, no need at all. I got my 20k svc without tuning. I have six, seven oil filters sent to me as a gift by a friend in US, but at 15 k kms service Toyota Islamabad refused to use mine. So I am just buying it on exorbitant price from them to maintain warranty.

Yes it can but mainly dirty throttle vody causes rough idling and sticky throttle.
I did not got it cleaned as it was cleaned at 10000kms (though its not required if car giving no problem). 3S will always insist for cleaning to make money.

My car has become more responsive actually after cleaning of plugs.
As for oil filter I was shocked to see its price. Air filter has gone to 4000 something. Ac filter ~ 5000. That is ridiculous. Last time I bought airfilter from 1s dealer for 1450 and replaced it myself.

Why are they refusing to use your filters?

They say had to engine seizures due to filters brought by customers. They say you can use yours but then warranty would be void.

Dealers ka bas chalaye they say dekh lay sir marzi hai aap ke aap apnay risk par nikaly gari showroom say bahir niklaye he warranty khatam
