Guys, Altis 1.6 is due for 10,000 maintenance, what needs to be done other than Engine Oil and Oil Filter? at 5,000 they did general inspection(nut/bolt tightening) other than the above.

Brake service, they do it at 10K km, but I got it done on 20K. They will also add tunning, but don't go for tunning if there is no problem. And give all these instructions before they generate your work order.

Corolla 1.6 is faster..plus brv is ugly when compared to sedan..if u have need 7 seats onky then BRV.else i m sure no one else will be getting brv..na looks na drive

Nah im not talking about design altis is far better
I jst saw some video on youtube in which brv was going strong than altis
Also read in brv fanclub about better performance of brv so was confused.
Altis 1.6 has more torque and more hp than brv.

An advice for all those who have FL grande for saving the battery of the second remote control by deactivating the smart entry system (only for the spare remote) which is not frequently used, lest you endup with the battery without even using it.

Press and hold lock button (on remote) and then press unlock key twice, your smart entry feacture will be disabled only for that specific remote and not for the onther one, in case you want to reactivate smart enry feacture just press any key

Ok guys let me dare to ask an odd question. While getting delivery of new Altis 1.6, how to be sure the car has actually 1600cc 1ZR-FE engine and not of an Xli/Gli. How to confirm it?

Put it in D and floor it.

I do it with my primary remote also daily. While leaving it in office parking lot. It stays there for 8 hours. Then before going to bed.

It will have engine cover and dual vvti markings.

You can also pull out engine cover check the engine number.

Battery will last 2-3 years even if u don't take tension sir:)..phr bhi saal baad change kerwa lenaa.relax kerain..car is here to serve us not for us to serve. Even if battery dies, u can touch fob and start car..then change battery.
