Civic X is a fuel guzzler
Ok guys, if anyone has the experience of both Honda City Aspire 1.5 and Toyota Altis 1.6. Which one is better? Like in terms of price and features. As far as I've checked, both has almost same features but honda is 3.5 lac cheaper.
Honda City is cheaper for a reason. It lacks the comfort and solid build quality which Altis has.
City has less options then Altis 1.6.
Like fog lights?
Facelift Altis 1.6 has some shashkas such as multimedia steering, optitron (wow) meter e.t.c.
1.6 never reached 14. Whereas grande did. Was it due to fl or pfl??Seems to be you drive fast full throttle.
I doubt mileage is related to facelift as engine is same. Lowest mileage of Grande in city has been around 10.4 kmpl and this is good considering Lahore. On motorway with average speed of 130-140kmpl..to Lahore Islamabad-Monal-Lahore yesterday...below are the stats. Meter wa showing 0.5kmpl more than this vut i personally believe in tank to tank calculation. With 5 adults and even partially AC was on as well yesterday..this is an amazing mileage.
Comfort..and power as well. Despite being stiff in suspension..city has lower intitial torque till 3000rpm. Car shakes at high speeds..and i . Saying this after getting zero meter car and keeping it for 3 years.
Awesome. Do you think if we floor 1.6 & 1.8, will that result in poor mileage of 1.6 and better of 1.8??Driving normally with lighter foot may result in better mileage of 1.6 than 1.8
All my friends having 1.6 cry about bad mileage and couple of them actually sold the car and got pre-facelift Grande. 1.6 may give better mileage if paired with same CVT as of 1.8 but using traditional 4 speed transmission can't do magic in 1.6. Flooring always consumes more fuel in any car but certainly a bigger engine responds well on highway in both both aspects...power and mileage. My city aspire 1.3 never gave me more than 14 kmpl (single pessenger) when i used to go from Lahore- Islamabad with average if 140kmph.. Altis 1.8 also gave me 14kmpl (5 persons) i think bigger engine is better
No. Even on lighter foot 1.8 will win.
Still 1.6 is a better buy than GLI. I think the only reason to get will be non filers cade ultimately. Price difference is also less than the features compared with 1.6. 1.8 is top of the line but expensive as well..so not a threat to 1.6 Altis
Actually imc never upgraded the engines and transmissions of their lower and middle variants since gli sells for them without any issue. Many of us still consider gli for fuel saving. One thing i would like to say is...on motorway..ehy glis always the fastest:) is it the legendary corolla drivers or the car itself...so many dippers ..paaan paan..they all are cruising really...pata nhn kaisay chalatay hain
Again its all about how much u can spend. Every variant is i would say worth buying. If I couldn't afford a 1.8 I would for sure go for 1.6 or a 1.3. The more money u spend the better thing u get
