Guys, what's the total cost of a typical oil change for Altis 1.6 from toyota motors?
Toyota Airport motors quoted me Rs 1500 just for labour. Isn't it too high. For price of oil and filter, they said will call back to quote it

Well, i just got my 1st oil and filter changed from toyota airport motors lhr. Their setup was good. Went straight to service manager, who seemed nice. Costed me Rs 7630 in total which included 5 lit Taglon 5W-50 oil, filter and battery water. Got the undercarriage bolts etc checked, air & ac filter cleaned as well.
Felt two changes after the oil change. One, fuel average seemed to improve a bit. And 2nd, not sure if it was psychological or in actual, but felt acceleration and pick response a bit stiff. Not as smooth as it was with factory oil. I think both oils are different. I asked the manager why 5w50 and why not 10w30. He said, 1st couple of oil changes with 5w50 and then will shift to 10w30.

That's the worst part of imc. They suggest switching to mineral oil after couple of synthetic oil changes...they needs to slapped tightly

I have sent them several emails without response yet. They are idiots to ne honest. Telling customers to switch to mineral from 5w-50 synthetic. Wah.. their trained mechanics know nothing about any grade when i asked them

2ndly, kindly tell @fastian04 that why do toyota pakistan recommend oil change interval as 5000kms when in the manual issued by indus pakistan , it is 10000 kms.
Also why they pouring in 5w50 when there is no mention of this grade in the manual (and whatever is mentioned in the manual is very confusing. Couldn't figure out what were they actually recommending in the end)

Bhai i m going to switch to 5w -30 total on my oil change now. This grade is not mentioned anywhere really

Honda is pouring 5W30 in their cars since 2010. But toyota is either using 20W50 or 5W50. I would rather recommend 10W30 petron plus if you want to use the toyota brand.

Hmm. Not even in Dahitsu Cuore? Actually had been using Havoline 20w50 in it for the last 10 yrs without any problems. But for the last couple of winters, it has started creating cold starting issues. Car has run 1lac 30k. Was thinking of shifting to Havoline ka hi 10w30 to solve cold starting issue. I think shouldn't shift the brand at this stage having used Havoline from the start. So shifting to 10w30 seemed the best bet. What do u suggest?

The mirrors on my 2016 altis just got stolen from outside my house along with 3 others cars' mirrors belonging to my neighbors. I wanted to know for how much can i get side mirrors near WAPDA TOWN/ johar town area. And what if i get retracting mirrors like 1.8 variants. What would be the total cost including fitting.
