It is semi synthetic but it is the best oil offered by the dealership. And its viscosity 5w30 is just right as compared to taglon 5w50 or petron.

Do you think that a diesel 2.0D Corolla would be more fuel-efficient than a patrol 1.8 CVT one? I have been recently following Car Throttle’s YT channel, and they tested their Skoda Octavia with 1-liter diesel and it achieved 40 kilometers -- which is impressive -- considering the car has 400,000+ miles on ODO. Furthermore, they did a challenge where they drove 800 miles on one tank of diesel.

That was Motorway driving at about 60mph and they also tapped the gaps between bonnet and doors etc. You should also check the video where they used used vegetable oil instead of diesel.

Yes, I have watched it. It was an excellent video. They didn't use aircon either. Tires were properly inflated. I don't care if diesel is expensive here but it's more fuel efficient. Any 2.0D Corolla owners can share their experience?

Definitely Diesel is more economical but diesel has such a bad noise...all economy go in vain...sedans vibrate a lot

Yes, it no longer comes. Because back then diesel was cheaper than petrol thus the reason why so many people preferred it over the patrol cars of that time.
