Situation: I just came to Pakistan for 2 days and realised left fog lamp isn't functioning in the above stated car. Asked dealership to check the issue whilst oil change. Dealership diagnosed the bulb was faulty & mentioned bulbs & fuse are not covered in warranty. I have asked them to show me the policy stating bulbs are not covered, as I could not find anything in the booklet matching dealership claim. They couldn't provide me any documents to meet their claim of bulbs not covered in warranty.
After creating a fuss out of it, dealership said they will speak with IMC about the issue and share their decision. Next day I was told verbally IMC has refused the claim and has shared no details.
I have expressed my annoyance with the dealership and told them to give me in writing that bulb is not covered in the warranty. Dealership has requested IMC to provide in written & I am waiting for IMC to give me valid reason for not accepting the claim.
I would like to hear your opinion. What would you do in this situation? Have you faced similar incident regarding dealership? If yes, what was the outcome of the issue.
Thanks.
