Toyota Corolla E170 11th Gen Facelift In Pakistan

Delivery month for my Gli Auto is May. After following this tread from day one, i am still confused that should i give the remaining amount or wait for the exact/confirm status of facelift. I am doubtful that if facelift didnot come then i may loose my delivery schedule from may to june/july.what you people recommend me?Thanks in advance for your kind suggestions.

There are some minor changes to the inside of the facelift, where ever i have seen it, and there are very high chances of introduction of smart entry and push start, with those it seems unlikely that infotainment will get a change, especially as projectors ko iss bar skip nahi kiya ja sakta

Contacted almost 3 Showrooms in karachi. All of them are saying the same; booking is closed hence no car is available. Although Toyota Indus is showing the availability of cars on their site for the respective showrooms..

Wouldnt the people receiving their orders in the month of May june and july would have a say in it? I mean wouldnt they protest on receiving the old shape while they could have gotten a new corolla after one month?

Aik baat batadun, yahan kisi ko kuch nahi pata when the new shape of corolla will be released in Pakistan, and when it booking opens . Sab expected baatain kar rahay hain even showroom walay. Indus motors havent disclosed anything. Not even if they are planning to launch facelift or not. Ya phir puranay model ko hee wapis champi karkay release kardenge..

i heard rumors that there is a chance of new engine bcoz 1.3 1.6engine is almost 10 year old.

No need to regret, current model is beautiful and successful one can always sell the car and buy new one, every 2 year there is a new model, until there is no increase in price, there is no reason to feel unfortunate.

1.6 and 1.8 are same generation engine 1ZR-FE and 2ZR-FE respectively, 1.3 is old, infact very old, check ZR series on wiki https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_ZR_engine. 1.3 is only used in Pakistan, Internationally this engine was never made for corolla, I suppose!

Most probably booking of facelift may be opened on coming saturday
Or max by next week probably

The bookings for facelift will only open, once it has been properly launched. (Expected JULY)
And by that I mean, they are going to advertise it on sign boards, TVC commercials and so on.
I have a cousin, who is working in IMC as Quality Enginner. According to HIM, they are putting leather in the grande dashboard, just as they have done with fortuner. The side AC vents would be circular as in international version. Rest the bumpers and lights would be changed.
So concluding, A person like me who wants gli will only be able to get it in the month of Aug-Sep after booking it as early as possible.
