Yes i shifted from 5w-50 taglon to shell helix ultra 0w20 and changed it after driving 4000 kms on shell. And now trying total quartz 0w-20. The response of the car changed altogether. Heck! I'm never going back to 5w-50 or even 5w-30 and i realized i should have shifted to 0w20 way before since 5w-50 does more harm to the engine.
According to my experience shell 0w20 is far better than total 0w20 in every aspect. The response of engine and milage figures are both better. Plus the light torque feeling you get on a brand new oil 0w20 was same after driving untill 4000 kms so it definitely retains its properties for longer time. I also think it has better cleaining abilities for the engine against sludge buildup.
Also do consider the fact that shell 0w20 (which is locally blended in karachi) costs around 1000 rs more than total 0w20 (imported from Singapore).
