Its really subjective and variable when it comes to cabin noises. A lot of people dont really consider squeaks as cabin noise. While for some they are bothersome.

I personally have never sat in a Corolla that is squeak and rattle free.

The dashboard is made up of small pieces held by clips. No solid feel to it and is the main source of cabin rattles.

My 2012 GLi’s cabin was soundless whats wrong with mine?

November 17 Grande FL. 63k kms done. No sound except for occasional squeaks from door rubbers (they've become dry). So when i get my car washed the sound goes away for about 2, 3 days after that start again. Dashboard/Cabin is still soundless.

10k Kms done on 2018 altis and I'm hearing strange squeaking noise from navigation unit every time I go through a rough road
Have complained multiple times to dealership when went for maintenance and they always say that they've fixed it but nothing!

Even a slight noise makes me sell car..i sold as swift...when it was just 8000 driven.. Corolla so far is noiseless

Its still subjective.
For example my cousin has a 2016 Gli that is full of squeaks and rattles because its driven on rough roads and by drivers.

Whenever I sit in his car those noises bother me. But according to him his car is solid.

I have been through this.
They will never go away. Its because the dashboard is made up of third class plastic.

I once travelled in rent a car 2018 model Gli driven 150,000 KM at that time and driver who was owner of car as well drove it very fast on bad broken road but car was noiseless. I asked him why your car is not having noises and he said he cleans all door rubbers every week as according to him when these rubbers go dry and have dust they make noise. Trust me car had 0 noise. So I think it is kind of fact because my 2010 Altis made noise and I did same noise was gone. So who ever faces noise from doors should try it

I m extremely cautious on sounds and there is zero tolerance..i have been using perl on interior since day1 on monthly basis to maintain it. May be the difference in build is due to local parts assembled by different manufacturers. I m even willing to use a db meter as well to detect and show any noises

Yes...i keep my car like day1 and how come i accept noises? I m still surprised on the sounds you are getting..can u record some?

When i bought new, i used to hear slight noise from my android unit area on rough roads. During my unit replacement to 2gb version, dealership added simple foam padding on wires grip area..and that sound was gone. I think its a batch to batch issue then

That sound literally is really annoying!
I'll ask them to get it fixed once again when I go for periodic maintenance and would ask them to do it in front of me
If still it occurs then will try to fix it myself

I am outside the country. I think passenger seats don’t vibrate I think it was actually the plastic which vibrated but I am still not sure. It would be very nice if you tell me how to remove those squeaking door noises

Yar i always used perl to maintain all.rubbers/plastic..koi awaz aye to fix keroon

I guess they are talking about CARPRO PERL Silicon based coating. Its an imported one and the little expensive than others in market. Not sure the price and availability of it these days.
