sorry for late reply! Three points. 1. From generator to + positive of battery. 2. from - negative of battery to body(near headlights metal) and lastly from engine head to body! alhumdulillah never had a problem for last 2 years ever since! no dimming of lights and no dropping RPM! also run my amp with 12inch woofer! no light flickering or hyper flashing
