Thanks for the response.

I know about the working of H4 where only one (low/high) beam filament stays on.

However when I researched on PakWheels some of the very old threads from 2005/2006/2007/2008 have mixed opinions of members. Some say that only high beam stays on and low is turned off as per the default factory settings.
While some said that all 04 beams work with high beam.

Would like inputs from other Dumba users aswell.

No Ahmed, this is not normal... When ever we put lights on high beam all 4 bulbs works.

Assembly/ headlight switch of your car is from a Vitz

A good electrician can fix this for you a small solder needs to be done

Else you will have to purchase a new or used kabuli head light switch,

This is a very simple plug and play, if any electritian tells you to add on a relay or anything dont get in to cut and tape any wiring.

If you are good with tools you can do it your self too.

since the launch of E120 corolla till now it has the same pattern for halogen-type headlamps, i.e lo/hi beam stay on together,

even honda starting from 7th gen exhibit the same, current shape honda city, Nissan sunny etc and other Japanes cars,

German cars, having separate hi/lo also show the same behavior.

i cant recall any car/bus/truck does otherwise while have 4 beams as headllight

Clutch plate of my dumba got slipped so I took today to Sagheer Centre automotive market and got them changed.

In 3,000 with exchange of old one, they are giving me repaired/refurbished/refabricated Clutch plate/ pressure plate set while mechanic took 3,800 as Labor charges.

Then 1,200 for Lathe machinist work and resurfacing frywheel and 1,600 for making 2 Choori of gear bush in metal as they got damaged during opening being so tight.

Also some other charges like Kerosene Oil for cleaning transmission -- carbon residue left over etc.

Nee set of Aisin clutch pressure plate set is of 9,500

I did had that option for PKR 3500 ... would have been too much for my XLI

yes base, mirrors, labor replacement case, switches --- I will say I paid 1500 extra to save my time. -- Else this whole package 5K max.
