OEM brake pads definitely value for money, they last substantialy longer than others, also provide consistent performance.

u can experiment with brake pads, but the rear brake shoes must be OEM

To My observation when used 50/50 with hi-octane mileage gets better.

Last filled was regular (PSO 3Swords/Tilvar / House of PSO) from half to top gave 8.6/liter.

Now I mixed with 11 liters hi-otane with 13.31 regular from Total Shaheen Complex Road opp Arts Counsil -- Lets see where this ends.

Some members refrain me from using high octane in this engine being low compression ratio as it will develop more soot, carbonand black sludge

Same was conveyed me for mixing different octane rating that in long run, it will harm engine

Sir what is wrong with your car? I am very surprised to see this fuel average. I was worry about my car fuel average but after seeing your car average. I have stopped complaining about my car. Gli variant does better than se auto.

This is driven totally on highways. The pic i shared earlier was driven in local traffic mostly.

Till reserved light if driven on highway she does 600kms Alhumdulillah.

I had gli 2008 may model (old shape). I was using 20w-50 oil plus i also used to pour in STP one box.

One day I bought CERATEC and put half in my Toyota Indus during oil change and half in my 2008 gli. The effect of even half bottle was quite good and my car became smoother. Then after around 3500 km i changed the oil and used 10-40. And my car was running quite nicely with better pick with this oil. And i was thinking about shifting to 10-30 but before that i sold off my car.

now i only have toyota indus and i am using 10w40 oil in it and after one more oil change i am going to try 10w-30 in it. What do you think?

I used to change the front brakes of my 2008 gli (old shape) every year whenever i visited Naran. Oh yes it costed me 4000 oem for the front and Zakir Autos always told me that my brakes were fine , but I still changed them. Sometimes the rear brakes also.
This continued till late 2020 after which I purchased BRV
