Why u are replacing injectors ? A regular maintained car injectors can last upto 1.5 lac kms without cleaning.

Everything is fine in the car, but not really happy with the mileage. My mechanic said to clean the injectors or get new ones as cleaning and new injectors cost the same. Its not my final decision yet. But, just doing my homework for new injectors info. in case, if i wont get any other option then I just get new injectors and install them.

If brake calipers r making rattling noise, what is recommended way to fix them

remove the pads & the pins use wd-40 silicone lubricant over the pins, pad plates and reinstall.

Origional injectors of 1.6 category with dark green color are for se saloon,there are also 1.3 category injectors can be fitted in 1.6 engine,but the oem one are best.

Can you plz guide me with your personal experience about brakes and handling of this car? I know its brakes arent as good as newer gens and also may skid at high speed' but how big a difference it practically is? Can it still be bought for highway travel ?

I have increased brake performance by finding out right tyre size
195/70R14 and 195/80R14.
Brake pads currently in use are MK and now totally satisfied atleast from brake default issue now

This toyota generation is much reliable and solid one,as for as travelling for long distances,this generation of toyota is ideal,ideal in a way comparing to it's compitators at that time,like hondas(civic and city),this toyota generation is for more better in all most all aspects to hondas,honda is city traveling car,but toyota is for all modes of driving,weither it is city traveling or long travelling,like highways and moterways.
Only one thing is not much satisfying in this corolla generation is it's brakes,no dought this car skids offten,when emergency brakes applied even at 40 to 50 speed,but rest is owsem​
One should make habbit of patiens to drive this model,slowly and gentely in city area,because of it's brakes​

the models without abs 2002 to 08 hv skidding issues coz when u press harsh brake the disk pads will lock the rotors and car will skid. i hv changed the rear disk brakes with the drum brakes of axio 2008 with no alteration and skidding problem is solved almost 90%

These Tyre sizes are quite larger than the OEM Tyre sizes and will create more problems.

These wrong specs r real culprit of weak braking, I have come across dangerous accident due to these stock size tyres almost 15 years ago so after that I always changed tyre size and did nothing to brakes.
Alhamdolillah brakes r awesome now
