Just wash it with regularly with garden hose. Do not use pressure washer.

Thanks bro, i dont go to service station from long time, i clean engine bay 2 or 3 times a year. I dont wash it. I remove the dust first, apply wet cloth, use tooth brush, spray bottle (usually find in the barber shop) filled with soapy water and then clean it with dry cloth. and apply luster and wipe with dry cloth. takes around 20 to 30 minutes for detailing. service station guys never spend much time or do a fatigue for detailing. All they know to apply pressure water, samney samney kapra mara and apply diesel to give shinny n clean look. A cloth n luster engine oil jab change karwata tou wo banda de deta sath.

Everything is fine in the car, but not really happy with the mileage.

Its mileage is something you have to live with so if else is good then Chill bro

Thermostat valve plays an important role. In this cold weather my car temp. needle always stayed near C. I thought valve must be stuck open or punctured. When i opened T-Stat valve rubber was badly deshaped. After replacement fuel economy is perfect now. Also checked ECT sensor. At 20 k ohm range it showed 2k ohm resistance at room temperature.

Only outer ring can be changed incase. The outer ring and inner seal both were deshaped. Luckily i found a spare 82C T-stat at home. And the ECT sensor is located on right side of engine block below PCV valve with two wire grip.

When I purchased new tstat valve then I forget to purchase its rubber ring and when I give it to mechanic he fixed some other rubber ring which he had available at that time so it it okay?? The inner seal I guess is a part of Tstat Valve itself??

Yes its okay if outer ring fits well. Inner rubber is part of T-Stat itself and non-removeable. Now car gains optimum temp. within two minutes. Fuel economy is also improved.

2 mins seems quite faster to me , my car takes around 6-7 mins as weather is quite cold these days. Also can you tell the exact part number of Tstat Valve you installed?? I installed this 90916-03129 and my car is Altis 1zzfe 2005.

this valve comes with a rubber ring some blocks take this valve with rubber ring some do not need that ring. this is correct genuine part

In my case T-Stat valve inner rubber was badly deshaped and water was continuously passing through it, which resulted in cold engine temperature. Temperature needle always stayed near C. Before that it used to stay in middle, no matter how cold or hot weather is.
Please do not open it until you are facing any problem. Do not install third party or chinese part as this part is very sensitive in term of engine safety.
