Toyota people recommend me to use 20W50 only petron

yes in severe case 20W50, if the car runs smooth after this not bad, go for it.

Remember if it does not performs well on 20W50 you need to get it overhauled.

20W50 should be used if engine is severely worn has noise or oil consumption. But sad part is Toyota Indus fills brand new corolla with 20W50. And yes they run nicely for 3-400k kms without any major overhaul. When i sold my altis 1.8 2007 after driving 380k kms i was still using Shell Helix 10W40 in it which i was using since i bought it at 150k kms.

for older car mostly people recommend 10w50 or 20w50.

as per internet in Karachi cold weather never reached to 0 d degree. for heat viscosity's very necessary .

this mean 0W50 or 0W40 or 5W50 or 5w50 is also good but we dont have proper knowledge technically

But the operating temperature of an engine is always same in every climate and region so the digit after 'W' should not increase if 5W30 or 0W20 is recommended by toyota

Salam to all memebers recently i bought se saloon 2004 corolla 1.6 cc. Bahi log ak tho ish ki fuel consumption itno ziyada hay cng par chali hay but now disconnected. Mileage mai 92 thousand km hay but engine condition itni achi nai meter reverse howa hoga tuning karwi hay mechanic told that you should change MAF sensor and torttal body. He was also saying that MAF sensor ish ka apna nai x corolla ka installed hay kya ish say farq partha hay. Aur kindly any one of you can whatsapp 03138212393 on this number the MAF sensor pic so i could see k weather its changed or orignal. And engine mai tori awaz hay which grade oil i should use shell 10w/40w or 20/50w ya 10w/30w evoline

ok yeh air sensor hai isko to ap throttle body wasy sya wash karlo to be chalta hai cardon ya dust lag jata hai

fuel average maintain karnay kay lia you have to take care of following thing.

oil grade
air filter
irridium plug necessary
fuel quality
tyre pressure
light foot driving
proper coolant in cooling system because engine will be cool accordingly.
