Its still in looks as per its age, did you get it restored or just bought in such condition besides the suspension and other work?

No haven't touched the body yes it is in original condition as bought

Thnx for idea will open AFM tomorrow as car is still lagging while we press the accelartor

were the arm mount bolts tightened with wheel in driving height? or did the mechanic just yank it while it was hanging and the car was on a jackstand?

you bought new tie rods - are they greasable type or sealed type?

@OP If the rims mentioned above fit your pcd, they'll look killer on your car.

carb cleaner wont do anything - the actual work is done on the resistive track which is under the black plastic piece, if the tracks are worn out you need a new AFM, the engine will run extremely bad with a bad AFM.

did he use a grease gun or just applied some under the boots?

the engine not able to rev properly and general bad running is usually a case of bad AFM signal, check with a magnifying glass to see if the tracks have worn down or if the arm has been tampered with,

Just to clarify to you guys that there are a lot of hollow and very wide rims available in Peshawar now a days but there is a catch .... they are locally built from jeep rims (costs 6 to 11k) , what the rim modifying guys do is that they first full the centre hole with metal then trim it both ways than drill holes according to pcd and the dia of central hole, so you can guess that their is a big margin of error, one the car drives berth heavy??? And most don't get balanced right and wobble @ speed plus you never know the level of strength ....ii would not recommend

Has seen the complete engine with tranny AFM and Aircleaner at Rehman Auto's a while back.... the engine was from 89 cressida

Im pretty sure you have the engine in your shop, but this guy is in Khi - where there are about 50 godowns full of such engines.

you are right guru g. But if he need some thing to search I and you will help him to get it. Right
shershah might spark's back to life again as it was before then it is no problem to find such engine.
