Toyota delays deliveries for the month of September/October

Thankyou everyone for your response! Now I know im not alone.... sometimes I feel like these auto giants (for no reason) are running a scam?? They hold on to our money in the pretext that we'd be given an earlier delivery and once they get the full payment..... then youre at their mercy!

I am 100% sure that people who paid OWN were given someone else's booking or if someone who had a jugaar at IMC magically received their cars!

Bloggers from pakwheels should write something about this issue.. If I dont get my car by the end of this month...im going for a refund

Mine (1.3 AT) was marked Oct-2016, but sounds like i will have to wait for another month or so...

Also, if there is delivery delay, own will go up. If its more than 200k, i might just sell.

My 1.6 was suppose to come in August but it came on 21st sep. I guess sep guys have to wait till 20 oct

If the delay is because of an issue with the company then they do not charge 2% and would refund the entire amount in 30 days (IIRC). But I am sure there is no charge if the delay is because of an issue at their end, not too sure how long it takes for the refund to get through.

I have booked my corolla from Toyota GT Motors for Dec delivery becoz I knew there will be delay since I read the posts so I thought if I book for Dec i will get it in jan 2017 and I hope i get it in jan and not Feb or march

dont think you will get jan invoiced car as not many people book in dec so you probably will get in dec. you will be extremely lucky if u get in jan

I think indus should give a favor to the owner in return of the delay, like extended warranty or more free services etc

No but people with septs invoice are getting cars in Oct or Nov and Oct in Nov so Nov in Dec thats why I think I will get it in jan and the company guy also told me you will get your car in first or second week of Jan because of some software problem that occurred in Indu's motors

Shouldnt they give you a cheque (for interest) when it takes so long?? I remember Suziki did that with Mehran

they give 2 % if delay is more than 60 days. now a days delays is around 3 weeks

Yeah I know that but sept cars are delivered on 21 Oct ^ so from this theory Oct on Nov 21 Nov on Dec so basically my car will be delivered by jan

as i heard from my source is that recently in ramadan habib bank offered 7.5% markup bcz of that IMC recvd total 650 more orders of corolla that's what causing a delay ... as obviously habib bank has a very big jugar they will get the car sooner so that they can start the installment and get the profits...
