If I'm stuck with a 2F then I probably need some real muscle attached on the other side of the rope! You are very right about its power, no doubt about that.
I'm sure its very powerful along with its low gearing and that was one reason that I decided to use it with 37s without a worry. I have decided the same for now, to keep it as it is until I find a good and economical feasible setup of 1HD-T**. Considering all the things, its among the most economical-to-maintained engine among the guzzlers. More so, its running fine. I have asked someone to get me two 2F carbs (used) from Saudia. That will further minimize the minor tune-ups now & then.
Yet another intriguing and thrilling idea thats going to occupy my thoughts for the rest of the time.
Fort Monroe is OK. Just that considering its all road and even 600cc cars can go there easily, I would suggest something else also unless there is something special we don't want to miss.
Lets go some place where cars cannot! I was thinking about Going to Derawar Forte for the night stay (camping) and then to Yazmaan via desert tracks. Enough of easy & difficult tracks there. Whats your suggestion on this?
Another wonderful option is the Chenab river bed and new developing river bridge area just 5kms from Multan, and @machine will agree that its an off-roaders' heaven!
I would say, pictures and stories are just the tip of the iceberg of actual experience in every aspect. I sure missed it big time.
I'm all in including my body & soul. Lets just plan it anytime just after mid Oct (two weeks from now) so I can finish up some important jobs on the vehicle that are necessary for longer road travel, most important of them being a power steering & front disk brakes. If its done early, I'll be ready at the same time.
